The white retainer and o-ring were most likely displaced through installation and removal of the quick connect hose connections.  We suggest that you replace the vegetable sprayer hose.  The exact repair part will depend on the model and age of your faucet.  Please call 800-345-3358 for assistance in determining the correct replacement for your model.
