VoiceIQ^® Technology requires a continuous source of power from a wall outlet, as the voice-activated technology consumes power that would drain batteries in a very short time. Any time power is lost from the wall outlet, wireless communications will turn off, as will voice activation. You will still be able to use Touch₂O^® Technology (as long as your batteries are connected and charged) or the handle to turn your faucet on and off during a power outage. When power resumes, voice operation will return automatically, without any setup required.
