What can I upgrade to?
I have a RP19804 cartridge in my shower now. Can I convert the trim kit to a 17 series without changing the rough in valve?
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, if you have the RP19804 currently, you can only use T13 or T14 trims without needing to change out the rough in valve. You would keep using the RP19804 with this new T13 or T14 trim.

I have a shower that has the old RP19804 Delta Cartridge, but it is "trimmed" with a Danco Trim Kit.
I would like to know which Delta Shower Trim Kit is compatible with the RP19804 Cartridge (is it any Series 14 Monitor?) - and I want the metal handle not the acrylic knob.
Thank you for your question! Any T13 or T14 series trim kit will work with your valve. Please be sure to use the existing cartridge (or a new RP19804) rather than the cartridge that comes with the kit.

Does this part have a life time warranty?
Hi Delta, Thank you for your question. All parts and finishes of the Delta faucet are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns their home.

Can the RP19804 cartridge be used with the R10000 Rough-in valve?
Hi Terry, Thank you for your question. The R10000 rough would not be compatible with the older 1300/1400 cartridge the RP19804. The rough is compatible with the current 13/14 series cartridge the RP46074, the 17 series RP46463, and the 17T thermostatic cartridge RP47201.

IS THERE A DELTA O-RING KIT FOR THIS CARTRIDGE
When I service this type of cartridge I usually replace the cups and springs, which I know Delta manufactures, and I only use Delta OEM parts. Is there an o-ring kit part number also? or are there part numbers for the individual body and inlet o-rings?
Hi Ed, Thank you for your question. We do not offer a repair kit for the RP19804. The RP4993 seats and springs, and the RP14414 o-rings that fit around the legs of the cartridge can be ordered as separate items.

I have what I believe is a Delta scald guard shower with single handle which I need help with finding the correct replacement parts. I need p/n etc.
1. If you can help with the replacement part numbers for the cartridge, seals and springs.
2. Part number for the Rectangle face plate if possible.
Hi Larry,Thank you for your question. Pictured is a 1600 series faucet. The cartridge is a RP1991 and the seats and springs are RP4993. The rectangular escutcheon is no longer available. The RP6083 is the round escutcheon that will work on this model.

What model is this Cartridge? My house was built 1997
Thank you for your question. Based on the provided pictures of your cartridge assembly, yes, you do need the Delta Cartridge Assembly - 1300 / 1400 Series RP19804.

What In2ition trim kit will work with this?
I have a Delta 144710-SSI In2ition tub/shower trim kit, but this requires a different cartridge. Does Delta make any trim kits that have a similar appearance that will work with the RP19804?
Thank you for your question! The RP19804 (1400 series) cartridge will allow you to install any 14 series trim kit. Simply use the original valve and cartridge instead of the RP46074 that is included with the trim.
