Hello Arnie, Thank you for your question. The RP74608 is not a braided stainless steel hose. We do not offer a braided stainless steel hose for the pull out or pull down wands. We would be more than happy to help you with this. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social. I have a braided stainless steel hose for the pull out wand (RP32542), can I use the unbraided one?.

Asked by: TTo
Hi TTo, Thank you for your question. The RP74608 hose assembly is compatible with the RP32542 wand in the newer model 470-DST(comes with 32" gray pex/plastic supply lines) faucets. The RP74608 would not work with the older non-DST versions of the model 470( will have copper tubing). The hose connection at the faucet is different between the old and new models. The wand connection is the same. Thanks, Dave
