Sturdy Die Cast Construction
Overall well made product. Only real complaint that I have is that there was no gasket or seal to prevent moisture from getting behind fitting and shower wall.

too small and odd shape
This part was recommended when I ordered a full series of shower fixtures (rain shower head, wall sprays, control valve, etc.) The part is solid and well-made but VERY small and did not cover the hole in the tile. This can be a problem if the location is in the middle of a tile since it can be very hard to precisely cut such a small hole. Also, all the other shower fixtures that I ordered had a square base plate and I would have expected this would have the same. When I called to get something that was bigger, they shipped me an elbow that did have a square shape that matched my other fixtures, but it was smaller in diameter than this one.

Black Rubber Base not shown in picture
Unfortunately, there is a "Black Rubber Base" that is used to mount this piece- it is not shown in the picture.
In my opinion it ruins the clean sleek lines intended for this shower component.

This is a cool piece, heavy, solid, low profile and sharp
looking. I used flex for the hook-up so I had to improvise
with a brass nipple, washer and the nut from a 3/8 inch electrical connector to secure to the shower wall.

My contractor installed the supply elbow with the outlet facing up. Can this be adjusted so it faces down?
Thank you for your review, Jaypro! The wall elbow threads on to a 1/2" (13 mm) iron pipe nipple. This can be unscrewed and threaded on correctly, but please be sure to apply plumbers tape to the pipe thread as per the instructions.

What is this product made of? Plastic?
Also what is the shower bar on the model 57021 made out of? Assuming it's NOT brass?

Customer wants us to install a diverter and elbow (50560) but wants a cap for the elbow. They do not want a wand at this time but later.
Thank you for your question, SueE! Unfortunately we do not manufacture a cap for this elbow however this model does include a thread-on tool that can be left on as a plasterguard if needed. We would not recommended capping this area to control water flow as the main control valve will do this.

My son recently installed this for a hand shower as part of a complete bathroom remodel. As instructed, he used a 1/2" IRON pipe nipple. Now dirty rusty h2o blasts into my new tub every time used! Why iron? Thanks alot...
So hopefully you used a galvanized steel nipple or brass nipple not a black iron nipple which over time will rust and rot and leak. You just need 1/2 MIP thread.

i have a 2 jobs i am installing a 50560 wall elbow on a fiberglass shower on 105 different showers
i need it to end up flush with shower and turned correctly for hose connection ,any suggestions
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 50560 can easily be installed on your piping. We do not have any "tricks" that we can recommend to make sure that it is turned the correct way.

I have R10000 rough in valve and want to have a shower head and a handheld than can be used together or separately. What trim kits etc do I need? I like the Dryden and other modern sleek styles.

Thank you for your inquiry! You would need any Delta Dryden Shower trim of your choice. Please see below link for available models. Then you would need the Diverter Valve R11000 and matching Dryden 3-Setting diverter Trim T11851, to complete the install you described.
