I had a plumber install the drain with the ARA faucet as stated as one of the compatible styles. The stopper does not screw in to the drain assembly as they barely touch each other. You may get one or two twist and that is all so therefore, it is wobbly at the stopper and then the stopper can't be pressed far enough to catch. I called to get assistance and I was told the two styles are not compatible. I believe they are. They go beautifully together however, I am stuck without drain assemblies. The sink I have is rectangle and almost flat. Looking for any assistance I can get to resolve the problem. The flanges are already set in the sink as you can imagine during installation. Once they were set the square pop up assembly needed to be a little longer. A photo can be provided if needed. I would recommend this if more information was provided as to the what the pop-up drain assembly was not compatible with before it's installed.

Does the square push drain in the sink unscrew for cleaning the drain out?
