Alsons BAS 3 Chrome Bar Slide

What diameter is the bar that the Alsons BAS 3 Chrome Bar Slide fits on? Will Alsons 5002 Metal Pin Mount Swivel Connector work with that bar slide? And, does Alsons 5001 Chrome Wall Mount Bracket with Clear Pin work with that swivel connector?

Thank you for your questions. Delta Faucet model BAS3BX is now a new model number which is 55511-PK. This is a square bar so there is no diameter. It is about 2 inches wide. The U5002-PK which is the old Alson's number 5002 will work on this bar and also with the U5001-PK which is the Alson's number 5001.

Does this bar slide come in any other finish besides chrome?

I ordered a replacement knob part BAS3BX for an older ADA Delta bar slide for a handheld shower. We tried to replace the slide knob but can't seem to figure out how to place it on the bar. The bar end caps seem to be all one piece. Do they come off?

Hi p9122, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model BAS3BX. This slide mechanism is included in slide bar models 51501, 51701, and 51502. The escutcheons can be removed from the bar, but the end caps are attached. See the installation manual here: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/72631%20Rev%20D.pdf Some ADA grab bars, such as model 40024, have ends that cannot be removed.
