Q&A
The Installation manual describes to use of a membrane followed by a mortar base. Can the drain be set when there is a concrete slab i.e. no need for a membrane?

Is this drain rated for hot mopping?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet DT061411.
Delta Faucet Company has not tested our shower drains for hot mopping. Where PVC drains are used in hot mop applications, extra care must be taken to ensure the drain does not become hot enough to deform the plastic. A cast iron drain is typically recommended when hot-mop methods are used.

I already have a pre-installed abs oatey drain body. 2". Is it possible to just unscrew the top drain portion of this and install it in the oatey drain body. If so is it also possible to just buy the upper drain and not the whole drain with drain body.

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet shower drain model DT061411.
It has a standard thread size of 2.375 x 11.5. The standard PVC hub with four bolts may be interchangeable with other brands. Unfortunately, the upper and lower parts are not available individually.

In regard to the last question. About removable strainer. Do you just mean the top grate screws and unscrews? Can you add an additional strainer/hair catcher piece below the top grate? What do you recommend?

Hi what is the flow rate of this product?
Looks like you have 3 shower drains available in Champagne Bronze. Can you tell me which one (if any) can be properly installed with a shower floor of Cultured (fake) marble? If 1 is good how long to get?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model DT061411-CZ.
This tile-in drain is for use with tile installations and the prefab shower drain model DT051411 is for use with preformed bases. Unfortunately, we don't currently carry a shower drain designed for a marble floor.

Apparently I have misplaced two of the strainers for DT061411-CZ. I think that we mistakenly tossed them out with all the trash from building our home. I need to order one additional complete unit. Can I order just 2 screens to use for the two I lost?
