PRODUCT FEATURES
The solenoid assembly enables your Delta Touch2O® with Touchless Technology kitchen faucet. It senses your hands-free activation and shows the water temperature. Consider replacing this part if you notice either of these two issues: The faucet keeps dripping until you move the handle to OFF, even after you’ve flushed the system. Or Touch activation works only sometimes, and you’ve already ruled out other causes (improper installation, metal shank touching the sink, loose wires, battery pack in the wrong spot, or tapping the faucet incorrectly). EP102240XX is compatible with Touchless versions of our Delta Touch2O faucets.
  • To ensure compability with your faucet, location a sticker on the solenoid assembly with a part number. Part number that works with this replacement solenoid is X00113178.
  • Compatible only with faucets with the following finishes: Matte Black (BL), Matte White (MW), Spotshield® Stainless (SP), or Venetian Bronze (RB)
  • EP102240 is for a faucets with the following finishes: Arctic Stainless (AR), Black Stainless (KS), Champagne Bronze (CZ), Chrome (PC), or Stainless Steel (SS)
  • Backed by Delta Faucet's Electronics 5-year Limited Warranty

What is the RJ-45 (ethernet) jack on this solenoid used for?

Between the RJ-45 jack and the port that is connected to the sink assembly there is a barrel type connector port. What is that for?
