PRODUCT FEATURES
The solenoid assembly enables your Delta Touch2O® pull-out kitchen faucet. It senses your touch and shows the water temperature. Consider replacing this part if you notice either of these two issues: The faucet keeps dripping until you move the handle to OFF, even after you’ve flushed the system. Or Touch activation works only sometimes, and you’ve already ruled out other causes (improper installation, metal shank touching the sink, loose wires, battery pack in the wrong spot, or tapping the faucet incorrectly).
  • To ensure compability with your faucet, location a sticker on the solenoid assembly with a part number. Part numbers that work with this replacement solenoid are X00090224 or X00074952.

installed new batteries and unit will not stop dripping

Asked by: Deputy
Hi, Deputy. Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a leak from your Delta faucet. I am happy to help you. Leaking from the faucet in the touch off mode comes from debris inside the solenoid. You may flush the solenoid by following these next steps. 1. Turn the water supply by putting your handle in the manual off position. 2. Disconnect the sprayer hose by removing the blue retaining clip. 3. Place a bucket under the male adapter coming out from the solenoid. 4. Run water into the bucket for 2-3 minutes. Debris located inside the solenoid should be flushed out after completing these steps. If this does not fix the leak, we do recommend to replace the solenoid assembly. For assistance with a replacement solenoid, please contact our Delta Customer Service line at (800)345-3358. We are available Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm, CST and Saturday, 8am-5pm, CST.
