PRODUCT FEATURES
The solenoid assembly enables your Delta Touch2O® pull-down kitchen faucet. It senses your touch and shows the water temperature. Consider replacing this part if you notice either of these two issues: The faucet keeps dripping until you move the handle to OFF, even after you’ve flushed the system. Or Touch activation works only sometimes, and you’ve already ruled out other causes (improper installation, metal shank touching the sink, loose wires, battery pack in the wrong spot, or tapping the faucet incorrectly).
- To ensure compability with your faucet, location a sticker on the solenoid assembly with a part number. Part numbers that work with this replacement solenoid are X00090225,X00080379, X00080377, X00071283,or X00064738.
- EP92546XX is for a faucet with the finish Matte Black (BL), Matte White (MW), Spotshield® Stainless (SP), or Venetian Bronze (RB)
- EP92546 is compatible with faucets with the following finishes: Arctic Stainless (AR), Black Stainless (KS), Champagne Bronze (CZ), Chrome, Lumicoat® (PR), or Polished Nickel (PN)

Problème de solénoïdes
Le robinet va très bien, sauf la valve solénoïde, il faut savoir qu'il y a un filtre à nettoyer à la sortie d'eau du système solénoïde, pourquoi ne pas l'avoir pensé avec le filtre en amont de la valve ? Cela aurait réduit de beaucoup les valves défectueuses, ma valve a aussi causé problème, alors je l'ai démonté et nettoyé et elle fonctionne maintenant très bien. Mais attention ! Vous devez être un bon réparateur, car il y a des pièces à bien enligné au remontage.

Didn’t last much more than 6 months
Worked great, but then after a little over 6mo the solenoid stopped worked. Very frustrating. Just an expensive manual faucet now…

So far so good, my issue was with the original, it only lasted for 24 months, Delta should have upgraded automatically or offered a reduced cost. I hope they have removed all previous models from the inventory! That is Customer Service, not waiting until it is broken!

Easy to replace. Keep the old Solenoid!
My original solenoid lasted 7 years. Would have liked it to last longer but replacing it with this part was easy, required no tools, and was complete in under 30 minutes. I've seen some reviews comment about the light on the faucet working differently after replacement. The light on my faucet stopped working long before the solenoid and still does not work. I am keeping the old solenoid because when the touch feature didn't work you could bypass it and make the faucet a standard manual faucet which is what I did for the past year before fixing. I don't think this replacement solenoid can be bypassed so if it fails again the only fix is to replace it with no interim solutions like bypassing the solenoid. The inability to bypass the solenoid if it fails is the only reason I gave it 4/5 starts instead of 5/5.

Delta Makes DIY Part Replacement Easy
Although shipping from Delta was ridiculously slow, once I received this part, DIY replacement was very easy. Replacing a $162 part was a lot easier and smarter than getting a whole new $1000 fixture.. Thank you Delta.

Begins to drip after 4 years
Watched a couple YouTube vids and attempted to salvage, but just like in one of the vids, that little pencil width filter inside had disintegrated and beyond that couldn't figure out how to make the diaphragm get a clean seat.
Basically I've resigned myself to just swapping this out every 4 years as when it works, it works great. Big coincidence here is I also have 3 Delta dual flush toilets purchased 2018 and the dual flush flapper seals all failed this summer. Hmmm, maybe my street water's acidic? Doesn't like my Delta products.

We had the faucet for less than a year and now it looks like I have to spend $162 on a new solenoid. I suppose I'll buy one. If it doesn't last, I'll get a new faucet from a different manufacturer.

Delta Faucet Sensor - Solenoid
I bought this sensomatic Delta Faucet over 5 years and like it when it is working. Due to the Solenoid Electronic problem the Auto sensor does not work correctly as a result reduce the Water Flow into Kitchen Sink. The customer service could not cover it and told to replace it with a new one. I have ordrered a new One with over $200. It seems expensive.

Intermittent Failure
Love this touch faucet but solenoid quit after 5 years. I purchased a new replacement solenoid and installation was easy but it has intermittently quit working after less than a week. I have to reset the solenoid and let it “rest” overnight before it works again. Wires are not touching and batteries are brand new so I have no idea why this isn’t working properly. Very disappointing.

Better than the Original
I had to replace the solenoid assembly for a Brizo touch kitchen faucet after the original solenoid failed and the faucet would no longer turn on. My faucet actually works better with the new solenoid than it did with the original - I no longer have issues with inconsistent operation when using the touch feature, and the temperature indicator on the faucet now registers the proper color for hot/cold water. I would actually give it 4.5-stars because installation was a little difficult and the part is a bit expensive, but overall I'm very pleased. Also, Delta Faucet customer service is amazing; they recommended ordering from Build and provided great phone assistance as I was installing the new solenoid. Best service I've received in a very long time.

EXCELLENT UPGRADE
We bought this system to replace two existing Brizo systems. The first systems were very intermittent and frustrating for our client. Fingers crossed the new systems were an improvement. I can report, they work flawlessly. What an improvement. Less parts too !!!!

Kitchen faucet
We love our touch faucet but we are disappointed that the valve fails about every couple of years. We bought it because it was warranty for life. Now they say the valve is electronic and won’t cover it. It doesn’t fail electrically, it fails mechanically and drips.
