PRODUCT FEATURES
The solenoid assembly enables your Delta Touch2O® pull-down kitchen faucet. It senses your touch and shows the water temperature. Consider replacing this part if you notice either of these two issues: The faucet keeps dripping until you move the handle to OFF, even after you’ve flushed the system. Or Touch activation works only sometimes, and you’ve already ruled out other causes (improper installation, metal shank touching the sink, loose wires, battery pack in the wrong spot, or tapping the faucet incorrectly).
- To ensure compability with your faucet, location a sticker on the solenoid assembly with a part number. Part numbers that work with this replacement solenoid are X00090225,X00080379, X00080377, X00071283,or X00064738.
- EP92546XX is for a faucet with the finish Matte Black (BL), Matte White (MW), Spotshield® Stainless (SP), or Venetian Bronze (RB)
- EP92546 is compatible with faucets with the following finishes: Arctic Stainless (AR), Black Stainless (KS), Champagne Bronze (CZ), Chrome, Lumicoat® (PR), or Polished Nickel (PN)
- Backed by Delta Faucet's Electronics 5-year Limited Warranty

Keeps failing
2nd replacement in 4 yeaes. Solenoid keeps sticking/barely opening after about 2 years each and these replacements are too expensive for what they do. Fortunately you can simply take out the solenoid and connect the water line that can normal faucet but then why pay for the touch2o function Will replace with a Moen.

Brizio Touch On/Off Switch
We have a 10-year old Brizio 'touch-on/off' faucet that lost its ability to function. Purchase this replacement but it only works intermittently. Looks like we'll have to move forward with the purchase of a fully new faucet.

Broke within 3 months of installation
I’m so disappointed. We had our faucet installed for less than 3 months before this part broke so now I have a $300 faucet that functions as a $50 faucet. Downside is that we slowly bought our appliances for our kitchen reno so this particular piece is just under a year old even though it was brand new to us. To see that I would have to pay almost $200 to get a new one is extremely disappointing. Just stick with a regular faucet.

The current replacement solenoid assembly for a model 9159T-DST faucet manufactured before 2018 is available as part number EP74855. Use EP74855XX if the faucet finish is matte black or Venetian bronze. See this part diagram for more information:

Yes, the solenoid assembly includes the plug for the indicator base wire. The red and black wire is connected to the battery box cap, which snaps onto the top of the battery box.

The top of our battery pack broke in half while replacing batteries. Everything else is fine. Is it possible to just get a replacement top that hold all the batteries into the battery pack without buying the whole thing?

I have what appears to be the Mateo kitchen faucet. I suffer from low water flow. Thru your maintenance docs it appears to be the solenoid. I have a part number of x00074950 can't find this part.

I'm replacing the solenoid on my Delta Touch faucet. I'm following instructions B. In picture B-3 it says to install slide adapter (8). It says this adapter is included. It was not included with my kit.

My Delta part# EP74852 solenoid has been discontinued, but the same faucet it was sold with is now sold with part# EP92546. Will that new solenoid work with my older faucet?

Will Part # EP92546 replace the discontinued part #RP63228 on my 9992T-DST Faucet. I have had problems with this valve since I purchased it in 2016, slow and non-existent flow. Only rattling the valve would help for just a short time but now nothing.

The EP92546 solenoid is the part number included with the faucet model 64970LF-PC.
If you have the Brizo Venuto model without SmartTouch, model 63970LF-PC, there are additional SmartTouch parts that are not included, such as the indicator base and the valve contact plate. The contact plate allows the handle to sense touch. See the part diagrams for more information:
