PRODUCT FEATURES
The solenoid assembly enables your Delta Touch2O® pull-down kitchen faucet. It senses your touch and shows the water temperature. Consider replacing this part if you notice either of these two issues: The faucet keeps dripping until you move the handle to OFF, even after you’ve flushed the system. Or Touch activation works only sometimes, and you’ve already ruled out other causes (improper installation, metal shank touching the sink, loose wires, battery pack in the wrong spot, or tapping the faucet incorrectly).
  • To ensure compability with your faucet, location a sticker on the solenoid assembly with a part number. Part numbers that work with this replacement solenoid are X00090225,X00080379, X00080377, X00071283,or X00064738.
  • EP92546XX is for a faucet with the finish Matte Black (BL), Matte White (MW), Spotshield® Stainless (SP), or Venetian Bronze (RB)
  • EP92546 is compatible with faucets with the following finishes: Arctic Stainless (AR), Black Stainless (KS), Champagne Bronze (CZ), Chrome, Lumicoat® (PR), or Polished Nickel (PN)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Keeps failing 2nd replacement in 4 yeaes. Solenoid keeps sticking/barely opening after about 2 years each and these replacements are too expensive for what they do. Fortunately you can simply take out the solenoid and connect the water line that can normal faucet but then why pay for the touch2o function Will replace with a Moen.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Brizio Touch On/Off Switch We have a 10-year old Brizio 'touch-on/off' faucet that lost its ability to function. Purchase this replacement but it only works intermittently. Looks like we'll have to move forward with the purchase of a fully new faucet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke within 3 months of installation I’m so disappointed. We had our faucet installed for less than 3 months before this part broke so now I have a $300 faucet that functions as a $50 faucet. Downside is that we slowly bought our appliances for our kitchen reno so this particular piece is just under a year old even though it was brand new to us. To see that I would have to pay almost $200 to get a new one is extremely disappointing. Just stick with a regular faucet.

need to disconnect sensor so I can leave faucet dripping for brutally cold weather. How?

Asked by: brent
Hi brent, Thank you for your question about this solenoid assembly. The faucet can be used manually so that it will not turn off automatically and can be left to drip. One way is to disconnect the battery cap while the water is flowing. The solenoid valve will then stay open and the faucet can be used manually. Or, using a bucket to catch excess water and with the handle closed, disconnect the hoses above and below the solenoid and then clip the hoses together. Check that the clip is over the shoulders of the hose connection and pull down to ensure the connection is secure. See here for more information: https://support.deltafaucet.com/s/article/Touch-Change-to-Manual Please contact us directly if you have any additional questions! I need a replacement solenoid assembly for delta touch 2o faucet model 9192T-DST.

Asked by: Denzil
Hi Denzil, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience you are experiencing. Here is what we can do to resolve your issue for you. Our Delta Faucet Solenoid Assembly MODEL#: EP92546 is the correct replacement for model 9192T-DST, before replacement we advise on flushing the solenoid. I have included step-by-step instructions below on flushing. Please follow the below steps to resolve your drip: 1. Put the handle in the off position. 2. Remove the blue clip that is attached to the top of the solenoid assembly below the sink. 3. Pull the solenoid off of the faucet connection. Remove the debris screen in the top connection if able, and clear any debris with tweezers or a q-tip. 4. Set a bucket under the PEX supply line that is exposed. 5. Place the handle in the on position and allow it to run water for 2 full minutes. This will clear the supply line out of any debris. 6. Put the handle back into the off position. 7. Reconnect the solenoid to the faucet and clip it back into place. 8. Now remove the bottom clip from the solenoid where the hose connects and pull the hose off. 9. Turn the water back on for an additional 2 minutes to clear the solenoid assembly of any remaining debris. 10. Reconnect the hose and clip it into place again. Once that is finished, turn the water onto the faucet and run it for 15 seconds. Lastly, I would like you to keep the handle in the center full-on position, then remove the wand. Hold the hose, so it does not fall back into the faucet, then point the hose into the sink. Next, I would like you to turn the faucet on by touch for 40 seconds. Then shut the faucet off by touch and back on for another 40 seconds. Then hold the handle and move it off and then back on without letting go for another 40 seconds. Once this has been done, please re-install the wand. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. We appreciate your business and look forward to continuing to serve you. Please contact us back with any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole
