From my shipment it looks like the cover & screw are part of the package, so there isn't a need to order the screw & cap (10 bucks of parts) as they are included.

what makes the RP2389 different from the H71?

I have a rather old bathroom tub fixture where I just tried to replace the old knob handle kit with the RP2389; however, the top of the valve stem kit is visible. Upon further review it appears as the hole in the knob that I have appears to be offset in comparison to the RP2389. Is the hole in the H71 offset to permit proper alignment with the valve cartridge stem? Will the H71 meet my needs?

Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. We offer several different acrylic knob handles depending on their use. The RP2389 is for single handle lavatory faucets. If you current knob on your tub faucet lifts up to turn on and adjusts temperature to the left and right the RP17451 would be the correct knob. If the handle turns counter-clockwise to turn on and clockwise to turn off the H71 will be the correct knob. Thanks, Dave

Basically any of our single handles that start with a H7 are designed to fit our 13 and 14 Series faucets. Hi Jodi, Thank you for your question. If the motion of your current acrylic knob handle is to turn it to the left to turn the water on and to the right to turn the water off any of the handles from our currrent T13/T14 series trims will work. If the handle motion requires you to lift the knob first and then adjust the temperature to the left or right you can convert the acrylic knob hande to a lever style by ordering a RP17443 handle and a RP20111 conversion ball. Our house was built in 1980 and we have a Delta shower knob that needs replaced. The plastic knob we have has a plastic stem on the back that slips on the metal part of the turn knob. Will the H71PB knob work for us?

I am trying to replace a Delta plastic shower faucet knob. The old knob is 2 3/16 inches tall. The mount is in the center and appears to be a hexagon, although it's shaped mostly like a rectangle. The screw is 1/2 inch. The part number is NOT RP17449. ???

I bought a version of this from Home Depot for my 32 yr old Delta  shower faucet….it was smaller. Same screw, same fit on the stem but quite a bit smaller. Is the one  for sale on your website  the larger or smaller version?

Hello, I have a Delta shower with single knob on 31125 valve stem.  Shower turns on with 1/4 turn counterclockwise.  I wish to replace acrylic knob with same chrome knob but do not know proper part number. Knob is 2.75” wide, 2.25” long, and ID is 2”.

The Clear Knob Handle Kit MODEL#: H71 can be swapped out with any handle that starts with an H7 as they are designed to fit our 13 and 14 Series faucets; however, when switching to a lever handle you will need to use the RP17443 handle and a RP20111 conversion ball.
