Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beware left take off only on 3 way diverter. 3 way diverter only uses left side. I only wanted the 3way but rough in calls for right port to be used. Had to convert to 6 way cartridge. Too bad the couldn’t make the 3 way selectable right or left. Would be a better design. If the ceramic seal was reversible in cartridge and not keyed it would work. Probably ought to specify right or left takeoff and manufacture a different 3 way cartridge for either right or left take off. Fortunately I discovered this before tiling it in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, with one minor flaw if you're using PEX Great rough-in, easy to install, works perfectly. My only complaint is the location of the mounting feet. They are both on the top side, which allows the rough-in to rock upward, away from the stringer. I would have preferred one of the mounting feet on the bottom as well, similar to Delta's shower rough-ins. This was an issue for me because I used PEX between the shower rough-in and diverter rough-in. When it gets hot, it expands, causing the diverter to rock upward. I will solve this by either strapping the bottom of the rough-in to the stringer, or by using a loop of PEX instead of a straight piece. But I wouldn't need to do either if there was a mount on the bottom side. The PEX would simply be forced to bend. No big deal, but heads up for those using PEX.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delta makes is easy with universal valves Valve body for 3 or 6 function diverter. Easy to install. Includes plug for unused port. One thing to note during installation, the screw tabs are only on the top side of the valve body. If you tighten the screws much, the valve will tilt upward. This will cause the handle and trim to be tilted as well, so leave the screw heads accesible in case they need to be adjusted

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy ordering and exactly what we needed I was happy to find a kit with all of the pieces I needed for our bathroom in one place, and especially grateful that I did not have to think hard about which valves were needed. Having all the parts ready in one package was wonderful.

Do you have a instruction video on the finished wall "trim kit" for the Trinsic diverter trim kit, I have the diverter itself already installed

Asked by: Edski
Hi Edski, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet R11000. We have a video to help with installing the diverter rough. But unfortunately, we don't currently have a video showing the installation of the diverter trim. I apologize for any inconvenience with the installation manual. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/103739%20Rev%20C.pdf Please reach out for assistance or if you have any additional questions! Due to installation reason ( 2*4 stud with wiring on other side) I had to blank off port one and have port 2 to the shower head and port 3 to the personal wand hose. Will this work having port one plugged off, port 2 and 3 in use. If so, what cartridge?

Asked by: Ash D
Thank you for your question, Ash D! If the R11000 Diverter Rough is being installed with a Delta 6 setting 3 port diverter trim, an alternative cartridge would not need to be used. However, if this diverter rough is used with a Delta 3 setting 2 port diverter trim, an RP51919 6 setting shared cartridge, or an RP71718 3 setting non shared cartridge would need to be used to open both ports. I have a R11000 diverter. The plumber installed it with a rain shower, regular shower, and a hand held. The diverter will only operate the rain and regular showers with a third setting for both of them. What do I need for using it with all three?

Hi Glenn, Thanks for your question regarding R11000! Can I connect or pipe a tub spout assembly to R11000 diverter instead?

Asked by: Mon808
Hi Mon808, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet R11000. A tub spout can be connected to the diverter but the flow rate would be lower than using a tub outlet. Water can also be trapped in the pipe to the tub spout that can drip out as air enters the pipe. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

How do you increase the water pressure on these valves?

Asked by: Nob27
Hi Braeden, thank you for your interest in the R11000! The valve cannot increase the water pressure. The flow rate will be primarily determined by the main valve and trim that you use. With R10000-UNBX: 14 series - 5.8 GPM 17 series - 5.9 GPM 17T series - 7.3 GPM With R10000-UNBXHF (High-Flow): 14 series - 6.3 GPM 17 series - 6.6 GPM 17T series - 8.6 GPM At 80 PSI the flow rate is increased by approximately 1 GPM. Asked by: Kalum
Hello, Kalum! Thank you for your question regarding our Delta Faucet DELTA® 3- And 6-Setting Diverter Rough MODEL#: R11000. Hello. I have purchased and installed a R11000 Diverter Rough and would like to know what trip I can purchase to allow water to flow to shower head, tub faucet and handheld. The plumber insisted that there was a cartridge that would allow this to happen.

Asked by: Ktdavis
Hello Ktdavis, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Our Delta Faucet DELTA® 3- And 6-Setting Diverter Rough MODEL#: R11000 allows for 3 or 6 setting trim kits to be installed, to operate all 3 items we would recommend the 6 setting trim kit. Also, we do not recommend installing a tub spout on a diverter due to the flow restriction, the diverter will allow for half pressure which will take the tub longer to fill. Thank you for being a loyal Delta customer. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Asked by: Bruce18
Dear Bruce18, Thank you for your question! I will be happy to assist. Unfortuantely, we do not recommend plugging the left port as the cartridge that comes with the trim is specific for your install. Asked by: Steve
Hi Steve, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model R11000 Diverter Rough. I apologize for any difficulty finding this information. I know that can be frustrating. We are happy to help! Neither T14248 nor T5748-WL is a diverter trim that will use the R11000 diverter rough. The T14248 shower trim will use an R10000 valve rough. The T5748-WL tub filler trim will use the R3500-WL valve rough. Using a R11000 3 port diverter. One port to shower head one port to jets and one port to cieling shower head.  I got to turn shower on and everything comes on together the diverter not changing anything what can be wrong

Asked by: Bob9
Hello Bob9, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Our Delta R11000 and correct trim will allow for individual use and shared. First I would verify that your trim model number is T119XX, then I would flush the unit and soak the cartridge in 50/50 white vinegar and water. Here are some flushing instructions: 1) Remove the handle by loosening the set screw on the side of the base of the handle. The set screw is either an 1/8" or 3/32" allen screw. So you will need to use the appropriate size allen wrench to loosen it. Loosen it just enough to be able to easily pull the handle off. 2) After removing the handle, remove the trim sleeve. The sleeve is threaded at the valve opening. It unscrews counterclockwise. 3) After removing the sleeve, you will need to pull the cartridge straight out. Once the cartridge is removed, you will have an open valve body. 4) Next, shut the shower door or curtain and turn the water on to the valve. Water should gush out much like an open fire hydrant. Have someone observe if there is good water pressure coming out of the valve and let it flush for 30 seconds. 5) Re-install the cartridge and re-assemble in reverse of how it was disassembled. Check the full handle rotation. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

Hi Keepitsimple, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model R11000 3- And 6-Setting Diverter Rough. We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible. This diverter rough can be connected to up to three shower features. We do not recommend connecting a tub spout to the diverter valve as the flow rate will be reduced and it will take too long to fill a tub. We recommend using a diverter tub spout connected to the tub outlet of an R10000 mixing valve. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance. What cartrige is used for a R11000 diverter rough

Asked by: randy
Hi randy! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. The Delta R10000 MultiChoice Universal valves are named so because they are able to accept any of the current MultiChoice valve trim cartridges, allowing you to easily change the style and function of your shower. These cartridges are included in the shower trim and will depend on the features you are needing. A 13/14 series has only one handle that controls volume and temperature together whereas a 17 series trim has a volume control and temperature knob for independent control. A Tempassure Thermostatic cartridge can further monitor the temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C). Best Regards, Carrie
