Replacement Valve

Great quality rough-in
We recently remodeled our bathroom and used the Delta R2707-MF PEX Cold Expansion Rough-In Valve for our new freestanding tub. This was the perfect solution for our setup—we specifically wanted a deck-mounted faucet instead of a separate or freestanding one, and this valve made that possible.
Installation was smooth and straightforward, and it worked perfectly with the tub and faucet combo we selected. The integrated design looks clean and modern, and the valve itself feels high quality and durable. It also simplified the plumbing work, which was a huge plus during a big remodel.
Overall, we're really happy with how everything turned out, and we’d definitely recommend this valve to anyone looking to install a deck-mounted faucet on a freestanding tub.

Since it was not a Delta, we had to crawl under the house & change it out of our roman tub. It was not fun, nor easy. That’s why we have always used Delta, because you will be able to change out if broken. Received advice which to purchase & it went in perfectly.

Will R2700-MF rough in work with T2767-SS Roman Tub Faucet ?
Hi Builder 2222, Thank you for your question. The T2767-SS roman tub trim will work with the R2707-MF roman tub rough. R2700-MF is not a valid model number.

R2707-MF does not fit PEX 1/2" pipe??
The fittings seam to be almost 5/8", but I cannot find 5/8" pipe, elbows, crimp tool, etc.
How does this work with the 1/2" pipe as written in the instructions.
If the -MF will not work with standard 1/2" PEX, is there a different R2707 model which will?

Thank you for your question! The R2707-MF is designed to for PEX cold expansion connections. For PEX crimp connections you will need the R2707-PX.

I'm replacing a delta 2710 trim with a bt2796 trim.
However the rough in 2707 is high and the new trim does not reach the tub. No access below the tub. Is there a high base piece I can use to take up the gap?
Hi Fototalk, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately the rough in valve adjustment for the model 2710 is an under deck adjustment. We do not offer any specific type of trim piece or escutcheon that would solve your height issue from above the tub deck.

I had a question on whether or not these valves are supposed to turn 90 degrees to turn on (100%) or do they continue to turn until the handle hits the filler spout?
Hi Dave,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model R2707-MF.
The stems turn 180 degrees in the valve but the valve would be fully open at 90 degrees. Most trims will have the handles turn past 90 degrees but it is possible there is a stop in the handle.

Retaining nut is so stuck, when I turn the nut, the entire housing turns, which twists the hoses underneath the counter. Any thoughts on how to hold housing/hoses to free the retaining nut on top? Installed 12 years ago. Possible to hold the copper pipes
