Wall mount faucet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As part of a high end primary bathroom remodel our client selected the Delta R3510-WL single handle wall mounted bathroom faucet partly for its elegance and it also makes countertop cleanup much easier. It was easy for our plumber to install and trim out. Our client loves it! The finish coordinates perfectly with other fixtures in the bathroom. I’ll definitely specify this faucet again.

Great product Brand
These Delta Rough in valves are easy to mount and trim. We installed 7 of them in our personal residence. As a General Contractor I have worked with numerous brands and types of valves. Delta is universal to all their trims which is not the case with other brands.

Faucet will not install despite correct valve
Installed this valve per the directions and most importantly at the location within the wall as called for by the specs. Note, the room for error is only +/- 1/8" which is no where near enough when impossible to tell exacly where finished wall will be of a tiled wall. Most frustrating part is even if this is installed 100% perfect, the faucet purchased to attach to this valve will not install. Only way for proper installation is if the valve actually sticks out further past the wall than called for in the directions... YES... having to cut open finished walls at this point. VERY frustrating. Material itself is great... instructions are very poor as they are not correct.

Is this the correct rough for the Trinsic T3559LF-WF?
Web site says that the 3559LF-WL, which is combo of both the Trinsic wall-mount lav faucet trim and its rough-in, has been discontinued. The two parts (the trim and the rough) need to be purchased per item, and this Tesla rough is the one to use with the Trinsic. Yes?

How Tight Should the Valve Cartridge Sleeve Be?
I'm trying to assemble this product with a Delta trim kit. I screwed the valve cartridge sleeve over the valve cartridge and onto the valve body. Then I tried to attach the valve trim and handle,... it didn't fit properly because the valve stem didn't protrude far enough to attache the handle screw. I decided that was the result of the valve cartridge sleeve no being fully engaged on the threads. So, I tried to tighten it with a pipe-wrench,... the result was that I destroyed the valve cartridge! What am I doing wrong?

Thank you for your question. The Delta cap/sleeve assembly for the Delta Wall Mount Rough-In R3510-WL should be hand tighten when installing it. Also, this installation requires 1/2" (13mm) copper tube fitting to extend 1 1/2" (38 mm) ~ 4" (102
mm) beyond the finished surface, for proper handle/valve part installation.

Correct O-ring location?
Page 3 of the installation sheet appears to show the o-ring belonging on the male thread of the manifold, however, the only o-ring supplied came pre-installed on the male thread of the housing. Which location is correct?

What is the best way to level and secure the valve body so it is level from front to back. Ancor screw underneath tends to tilt it downward so it it not level.

Can this valve be mounted upside-down?
What happens if it is installed upside down though? I'd like to put the valve handle above the spout, rather than to the side. Will the valve not function correctly? It seems as if the mixing mechanics would be the same.... Thank you to anyone who can explain why I shouldn't do this.

I have two of these valves used with T3559LF-WL Trinsic faucet trim. One moves easily, while the other's action is quite stiff and hard to move. These were installed by a professional plumber. Is there any way to correct the stiff acting one?

How much space should one leave above the portion of the valve body that turns upward?
