Replacement aerators for bathroom faucet
Old internal aerator was tuff to get out, shame they don't sell a metal removal tool. I think it would work better. Plastic prongs bend and break off. New aerator, once installed worked great.

I bought rp100072-0.5 aerator but needed more flow, like a 1.0 gpm. Is rp100071-1.0 the part I should get?

Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP100071-1.0.
Yes, these two cache aerators can fit the same faucet and the RP100071-1.0 would have twice the max flow rate of RP100072-0.5.
RP91142-1.2 aerator can also be used for a higher 1.2 gallons per minute flow rate.

Does this part come with the rubber washer that sits on tops of the aerator?

Unable to remove the old aerator with the removal tool. Is there another way to get the aerator off?

Please accept our sincere apology for the inconvenience with removing the aerator. We are happy to help!
The aerator is removed by unscrewing counterclockwise. A buildup of mineral deposits can make it difficult to remove. If needed, soak the area in a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 1 part water for 30 minutes. You may also use a soft toothbrush to remove buildup.

How do you replace the aerator on bath faucet

This aerator unscrews counterclockwise when looking up at the spout. A plastic wrench is included to help turn the aerator.
