Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not included! But necessary! The Tub Shower set looks beautiful. BUT...I am missing the part I need to finish my tub shower! Could not figure out if I had lost a part or what. Spent way too much time on this. Like everyone else... terrible instructions... everything is in three languages... That's great! But... please, give us three sets of instructions! instead of all together in one giant fold up piece of paper. On Wayfair the specs say this 144749 Nicoli Single-Function Tub Shower Faucet Set is for Water Inlet Pipe Thread NPT; Copper / CC; Pex. Perfect! BUT... it will not function with 1/2" NPT without an adaptor that is not included!!! Now I find I have to order it and wait another week to get the part. Inconvenient?! Definitely. So now I have to order this part for an additional cost + shipping and wait. For a company that is not that highly regarded by home improvement professionals I talked with, you should do everything you can to help the DIY community by giving clear and accurate instructions... (and by using a web form form that does not make you disable ad blockers to use.)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but BAD directions. This came with the tub spout I ordered. The bag has instructions printed on it but there are no paper instructions. If there were proper instructions I would realize you could EITHER, sweat it onto copper OR slip fit it over copper with the interior O ring and included set screw. I tried to sweat it on. However, with the interior O ring in place (instructions didn't say anything about it), it pushed all the flux out of the way. And also caught on fire when sweating-that's when I realized it was in there. So now I am going to have to sweat it off, clean it and the copper pipe, then re-sweat it into place. OR order another one and just use the slip fit option. There's no excuse for such poor instructions. Hindsight tells me I should have known better, but such is life.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality Control I purchased a Delta Shower and Tub Kit over the weekend. I've spent the past two days trying to figure out why my spout kept leaking when I turned the shower on. After doing some research last night I realized that I had the wrong adapter. According to Delta this part is needed based on their instructions. However, they don't tell you that you have to order this separate. To add to the issue, this part isn't considered an expedited part and will take up to 10 days to get to me!!!

Q&A

My contractor cut the pipe to exactly 1.88" or millimeters less than that and the inside o-ring is not getting a good seal. Is there a shorter version of this adapter that i can use?

Asked by: Mike
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately we do not offer a shorter adapter. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Tim Digital Communications Specialist

Follow up to my last question. I was mistakenly looking at this item when the adapter I have is RP33794. At 9/16" shorter than the RP33794, this may work. Do I have the dimensions correct? More importantly, are the threads on the two models the same?

Asked by: Mike
Hi Mike, Thank you for your question! Yes, both the dimensions and threads are the same. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Tim Digital Communications Specialist

I bought Valdosta 144757C-RB.  The adaptor included in the box is p/n 12307(no set screw). The directions in the box say I should have p/n RP100154 (set screw). I am trying to use the copper slip on installation and need the set screw.

Hi, Just wondering if this adapter works with the T14461 Compel Tub diverter? The OD of the threaded section needs to be 1 7/8" I believe. Can you advise. Thanks in advance

We purchased the Porter tub shower faucet from Home Depot.  The tub spout adapter was not in included in the parts.  Is this something that needs to be purchased separately with copper tube?
