Our Delta Faucet Handle Kit - Wall-Mount Tub Filler In Chrome MODEL#: RP100456 can not be used for a non-wall mount installation, the handle and spout for a wall mount need to be paired with the rough valve R3500-WL. Unfortunately, we do not have a smaller tub spout to fit the rough end that would be needed for proper installation. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. It is installed with the R3500-WL Two Handle Wall Mount Rough as well as the flange, gasket, flange nut, mounting extender, stem extender, and screw included with the tub filler trim.
