Beautiful!
Our old spouts diverter failed and we needed a long spout for our jetted tub, we looked all over Edmonton and were so happy to find this one. It was a very easy installation and is very nice looking, with a hidden diverter.

The Delta Galeon RP101394BL Diverter Tub Spout is not installed yet. The slider pulls out of the spout and there appears to no mechanism that is securing it, allowing it to be pulled out when lifted.

The slider pulls right out of the spout. It does not secure to the spout. If you pull up on it, it comes out of the spout.

Does this tub spout (rp101394) require an adapter? Instructions supplied show all kindsof adapter assembly methods yet the spout model is not listed.The spout only has a female threaded end. I assume a 1/2 in. male NPT/sweat fitting is all that is needed?

This spout is designed to fit a 1/2" IPS threaded pipe, directly. We do not currently carry an adapter for a sweat or slip-on connection for this tub spout.

Since the instructions do not reference what is in the box, could you please provide a step by step on how how to mount the brass insert to the ips and then how to mount the spout to the brass insert and in what sequence.

This tub spout does not use an adapter and threads directly to an iron pipe. See page 6 of the installation instructions here:

This spout is designed to fit a 1/2" IPS threaded pipe. The NPT installation type only applies to other certain tub spout models listed on page 6.
