REVIEWS
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Faucet Maintence Instructions/and Design Instructions for aerator removal are not clear. The instructions show aerator removal wrench with notches being used is not the case. The spray portion of spray head has to be removed/unsrewed, then you can access the aerator from the back of the assembly. Clean out debris then insert aerator into spray assembly, and screw back on to aerator. I had to destroy a spray head, because customer support repeatedly advised to use the wrench that came with the faucet head (Need better tech support). I finally got the wrench between the aerator and spray ring, and twisted ccw, but did not un-screw aerator/spray assy. wrench just spun. Aerator /spray assy over tightened. Less torque would have been nice. Engineering needs to revisit aerator/spray assy. to improve. Needless to say I'm very disappointed in this Delta product.

Q&A

Is there any guidance for replacing the aerator?  I've read the review and I am having the same issue.  We have already replaced the sprayer assembly once before (with the assistance of our retailer).  RP101948CZPR

Asked by: shakem
Hi shakem, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP101948CZPR. The aerator unscrews from the sprayer with the included wrench, where the water comes out. If the aerator is difficult to turn, soak the area with 50/50 white vinegar and water to remove buildup that may be causing the issue. The sprayer is not designed to be disassembled further. Please reach out directly for further assistance or with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan
