I have a delta shower control, probably 15 or so years old, if I buy a new delta shower control do you think it will fit on the existing plumbing ?

Hi Jay, Thank you for your question! The shower should have a series number listed on the plate, directly under the handle. If you have a 1300 or 1400 series shower, you can use a either a T13 or T14 series trim kit. However, you will need to use the existing cartridge rather than the one that comes with the trim kit (RP19804). http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/results.html?q=T13+T14+Monitor+Shower&num=20 If you have a 1700 series unit, you can use a T17 series trim kit, using the existing cartridge (RP32104). http://www.deltafaucet.com/search/results.html?q=T17+Monitor+Shower&num=20 If you have a 600 series, you can use the RP54870 renovation kit. http://www.deltafaucet.com/bath/details/rp54870.html Best regards, Jon

There is a brass component that goes with this? What is that part?

How do I get the water hotter?

The Delta Hot Limit Stop I purchased as part of the cartridge will only allow the handle when connected to turn so far. There is a screw (was no on previous cartridge that was replaced) and it does not move (appears to be a safety feature)?? What do I need to so that I can get hot water? The water is luke warm at best. Please help. From: Freezing in the shower

Thank you for your question. The rotational limit stop can be adjusted so the consumer can get hotter water. The factory setting is at about 105 degrees but it can be turned up to around 120 degrees. Included here are instructions for installing a 1300/1400 series valve. Will this work as replacement for a broken limit stop in Model#: B114915C tub/shower handle?

I have a 1999 or 2000 shower control with separate temp control. Is there a rotational limit stop and temp control replacement part?  If not what type of controller would be compatible?
