Extra $70 Part Needed for Proper Fit
I agree with another reviewer (Steve)! It’s frustrating that the only way to get a proper fit is by purchasing a separate sleeve for nearly $70. That doesn’t feel reasonable or customer-friendly.
If the trim kit requires the Long Sleeve (RP22735, 3-1/2”) to install correctly, that component should be clearly included or at least more transparently communicated upfront. Having to figure this out after purchase adds unnecessary cost and inconvenience.

Delta doesn’t care about their customers
I asked a question that you totally disregarded. I bought the shower walls from delta that are recessed. The valve is at the standard location. Due to the shower walls being recessed it’s going to need a longer sleeve. Everything was purchased from delta. This should have been included in the faucet kit. It’s unfair that I have to pay extra when my entire bathroom is delta. At the very least if you’re going to charge extra for this piece it should be $30 tops.

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP22735 Trim Sleeve measures 3-1/2" in length. Currently, this is the longest trim sleeve we carry.

Will this sleeve fit over a cartridge on a 1400 series from 1996?
Further, will it work with a new Delta Porter kit model 144984-BN-A, in place of the sleeve that comes in that kit?

My trim sleeve is overall 3 1/2" long and the narrow end is 1" long similar to Sally's. Larger diameter is 2 3/16". Is it still available? What is the part # ? I'm looking for chrome.

Thank you for your question. We currently manufacture two sleeve assemblies, RP39407 which is 3" and RP22735 which is 3.5" and will work with 1400 series showers made prior to 2006. Here is a link to the parts on our website.

How do I get dimensions for this part? I need a longer trim sleeve and don't have model number of faucet assembly. I need length and diameter.

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP22735 Trim Sleeve measures 3-1/2" in length. The sleeve measures 2.83" long on the larger diameter and .605" long on the smaller diameter.

How long is the front (narrower part) that attaches to the knob? Mine is 1 inch wil this fit?

Thank you for your question. The narrow portion of the sleeve is approximately 1/2". The complete sleeve is 3 1/2" in length and will work with 1400 series showers made prior to 2006.

Do you have this in Brushed Nickel finish?
I have a pre 2006 Monitor Series 1400 tub and shower faucet. I need to change the trim set to brushed nickel but the only available sets have a shorter sleeve.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a longer sleeve in Brushed Nickel. However, the RP22735SS in Stainless Steel is very close to Brushed Nickel.
