Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP23060 needs to have any caulking removed and then it should just pull up. You don't need a special tool, just something to remove the caulking.

Hello. How wide is this at the top flat part of the flange? I need  at least 2 1/4 wide. The drain that came with my new Delta faucet is 2 inches and beveled and water keeps collecting around it. Thanks.

I see the faucet listed in polished brass and that is what I have. I don't see this part in the same color.

Hi Bill, Thank you for your question. The RP26533 pop up drain assembly that comes in the model 551-DST faucet should not be used on your sink that does not have an overflow. You can go with the RP47648, a grid strainer less overflow, or a push pop less overflow style like our 72172 for your drain. Thanks, Dave

What is the replacement part for the chrome drain flange? If there is not one sold by Delta can you recommend one and provide the specs. The top rim of it broke into pieces around the sink drain & needs to be replaced. Also the sink has no overflow.

Do you use this with a stopper or without? Our existing Delta flange which came with faucet has cracked and broken apart. The stoppers seem fine.  Do I need to replace them as well?

Is there a "special" tool to aid in REMOVING this flange. Hard water has calcifyed around the threads and it will no longer turn by hand.

To help remove buildup, we recommend wrapping a rag that has been soaked in a 50% solution of distilled white vinegar around the area. Let that sit for at least 30 minutes.
