i have a loose Delta single handle shower /tub valve. I want to tighten the set screw RP79243 but don't know what size allen wrench to use. Also if I need to replace at hardware store, what size set screw should I buy?

What size allen wrench is needed for this screw

I am trying to remove the handle on the faucet for my free standing tub so that I can change the hot/cold water mix but I am unable to find an allen wrench that works.

Hi Cyndi, Thank you for your question. The set screw is used to tighten the slide on spout or a spout adapter onto the copper pipe protruding from the wall. The screw would be accessed from underneath the spout, close to the wall, and tightened/loosened with an allen wrench. Thanks, Dave
