I’m reiterating the review from a year ago. A note could be added that suggests a 1/8” may be required; another trip to the hardware store is no small inconvenience.

Thank you for your question! For the Delta Faucet model 178-WF, a replacement handle set screw is part number RP152. It uses a 1/8" Allen wrench.

Hello - I recently had a T14259-RB shower system installed, and the contractor installed the handle upside down. Is 3/32 the correct size for the handle's screw? I've tried 2 mm (too small) and 2.5 mm (too big) so I'm hoping switching to 3/32 will work.

A 3/32" inch allen wrench will tighten and loosen the handle on this model. This handle is designed to point toward 3 o'clock.
