I am looking for a more modern trim kit to replace on my Delta Monitor 1400 Series. What do you recommend?
Delta Monitor 1400 series
Thank you for your question. If your faucet was installed prior to 2006, you can use any 1300/1400 series trim to upgrade your faucet. You will need to keep your old cartridge and not use the new cartridge that comes with the new trim. If it needs to be replaced, the cartridge number is RP19804.
If you have a valve that was installed after 2006, it will probably be our Multi-choice R10000-UNBX. If this is the case, you are able to switch out your trim with any 1300/1400 and 1700 series. You will use the cartridge that comes with your new trim if you have the multi-choice valve.

I need a replacement escutcheon plate for a Delta Monitor shower valve with diverter. It looks very similar to your part RP28795 except that there's a hole thru the plate at "6 o'clock" for the diverter push button control. Valve dates to circa 2004.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we no longer have an escutcheon plate with a diverter hole at the 6 o'clock position. We would advise capping off the diverter part of the valve with RP2865 and installing a diverter tub spout.

Does this come with both the inner and outer gaskets attached to the back? I need new ones of both.

Thank you for your question. The Delta RP28795 does not include gaskets. We recommend a bit of silicon sealant around the escutcheon plate to seal.

Thank you for your question, Sparky! The RP28795 is simply the escutheon plate. The screws will attach to the actual valve body and plasterguard such as an R10000-UNBX.
