Haven't even been installed a week and this drain assembly will not function properly. I thought better of your products Delta. You definitely need to have this re-engineered because what I have is a useless peice of junk. And I'm not the first I see.

bought this for the color/finish to match despite the poor reviews...Figured they must be doing something wrong. NOPE
Tub drain lasted maybe 5-6 uses and it broke and won't engage/disengage
I'm a contractor and bought this for my own home and its just as all the reviews say. Top dollar for low quality.

Poor Finish
Poor design. The stopper gets stuck and the venetian bronze finish has completely come off. Deltas finishing process isn't the greatest. I have spent over $4000 on delta products from shower to tub to faucets for the sinks.

Looks great, but does not function.
I should have read the reviews better. The toe open and close function does not work at all. We have to push the stopper with our fingers to get it to work. It’s not worth the money.

Constantly gets stuck and won’t drain
This product installed easily and looks very nice but that is where the positives stop. Since almost immediately after installation, the stopper will get stuck in the down position and not allow you to drain the tub.

Terrible Design, Read the Reviews
Do NOT buy this product. I ordered two of them despite the bad reviews because my plumber with 30+ years experience said he has never had issues with toe stoppers. Well, he could not make this product work no matter what. We returned them and went with another brand even though the new product color was slightly off from my current Delta hardware because I wanted high quality.

AVOID! This causes me fury daily
We basically gut our entire 4 bedroom home, and these tub drains are literally the only thing I am unhappy about. They are impossible to plug and then unplug. I often just have to unscrew the entire closure piece out. Absolutely avoid at all costs.

Just bad
Whole home remodel and this toe stopper is the only thing I’m unhappy with. It doesn’t seal. It doesn’t open. I’ve adjusted it and even taken it apart and it just doesn’t work. It’s just a bad unreliable design that somehow made it through to consumers. Out of all the things that could be huge headaches during a remodel, I didn’t think the tub stopper would be one of them. So, add that one to the list if you’re planning on buying this stopper.

Plug doesn’t work

Doesn’t hold water
I read all the reviews that rate this product at one star but I had delta faucet products and wanted to match the color. I thought surely people were not adjusting it properly. Now I have to agree with them. I took it all apart and adjusted the inner brass screw as much as possible. It leaks less but it still leaks. So now I have to periodically add water to my son’s bath so he doesn’t run out. I am disappointed that such a simple product could fail at its only task.

Stopper came apart when unscrewed
The stopper came apart when I tried to unscrew it and now it leaks. I tried to reassemble, but the rubber gasket appears to be warped after coming apart.

Poor Quality
Bought this for a bathroom remodel job on my own home. The drain plunger fell apart in less than a year and after looking at it closer I discovered that the rubber seal is already cracked.

Stopped closing
I installed this two weeks ago and the plug has always had issues with the seal (sounds like a buzzing noise as it let's all the water down the drain even with adjusting). Yesterday the drain simply just stopped catching and clicking into the down position.
Simply, I can not fill the tub because it does not click in.

Does not do the job !! Cheap !!
I bought a new tub and facets. The top stopper worked once and I said 1 time. Did every everyone said to do. I loosen it, tighten it, nothing works !! I thought it was just people were not using it right with all the bad reviews. Should have took all these reviews and not bought this product. Delta, with all the bad reviews, you don't think you could fix this problem?

What is the actual size?
Home depot advertises the size as 1 1/4", some reviewers had problems because they say its actually 1 3/4", but your website gave feed back to a question that stated the size to be 1 1/2". Just want to verify what the actual size is before ordering.

I have a 33 year old tub that I don't think has threads on the drain. Do you make one without threads? We installed the Porter shower/tub combo.
