Why didn't we look sooner?
We have had a broken faucet handle for about three years since some company didn't understand how our shower faucet operated. We finally decided to look for a replacement part and found it here! We ordered and received it the next day. It was a perfect match. It is so nice to have a tub/shower faucet with a handle again!

Great retrofit
My wife broke the spindle off of her shower handle and a new spindle was not the answer ( they are too short- why? - good question) . We had to buy the whole assembly, shown here. It works very well and is Sooo much cheaper than calling in a plumber and doing a whole new unit. Anyone can replace this assembly without a plumber.A $50 piece instead of $200 for the new shower handle and $100 for a plumber. Good deal

Illustration could be better
Although somewhat of a moot point in my case, it was unclear that this piece also came with the long screw that attaches the handle to this part. Including the screw in this package is a good idea as my old handle screw became fused in this old part, then broke off making both useless, requiring me to buy this setup.
It was also unclear that this did not include the round plastic temp limiter since it is shown in the picture.

does RP32103 work as replacement on a series 1700 faucet?

This handle assembly was included with 1700 series faucets. It would pair with an A74 handle accent.

What part number is the cover piece to RP32103NN? It has the Monitor temp control lever on it.

How do you take the top off to replace part #RP32103? What about the temperature control thing? Please send a video.

Product # 17455. The handle for the temp valve looks to have separated a bit from the rest of the control handle, making it impossible to change the water temp.Trying to find out what replacement part is needed.

If the temperature knob is loose, we recommend removing the cover and tightening the screw. The finished cover is snapped to the temperature knob with side snaps. For the faucet trim model T17455, a replacement temperature knob and cover are part number RP34358 in chrome.

The shower unit can be adjusted, I have attached a link to show how to adjust the RLS on our Delta shower cartridges. This will provide the option of hotter water also, we recommend making sure the water heater temperature is set to 120 or lower.

This looks like it will match my 1998 monitor 1700 series handle where a chunk broke out of the gear teeth; still functioning great though. Does the clear handle the spindle holds to this come with or what is the part number since mine has a small crack?
