PRODUCT FEATURES
Dual-function valve cartridge maintains a consistent water temperature from one shower to the next. Monitors water pressure to balance temperature. All Delta® tub and shower faucets are engineered to keep the water temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C)*. This technology makes sure your family doesn’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. The valve cartridge features an adjustable handle limit stop that, when properly set, helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort*. Easily replaced seals make maintenance a snap. Comes with all Delta pressure balance tub and shower faucets. *Requires inlet water temperature be set correctly. May require seasonal adjustments.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta RP32104 I am using a licensed plumber and we are on my 4th RP32104 in 8 months. The first one we replaced to replace a gasket and that stopped the leak but after a month or so the handle spins around 360 and won't shut off the watter. I am not at all forceing or turning the handle with force because this cartridge cost $85 and I have purchased 4. I cannot change the housing without breaking tile and cuting the copper pipes but this is a bad design. Obviously Delta has changed the design because the old one lasted 17 years. This tiny square is the only thing that stops the handel from spinning around 360 and it keeps breaking. Can you help? This tiny

Rated 3 out of 5 by from single handle for RP32104 cartridge Just have plumber replaced RP32104 cartridge inside my Delta monitor series single handle, but the handle turn over 360, and couldn't stop at position of hot/cold water. Replaced second RP32104, still have same issue, handle could be turn over and over freely. I think I need to change this handle (should be around 15 years). Which single handle should I purchase to match this RP32104, would you send me a link?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent customer service I purchased my delta faucets over 20 years ago and when they required repair, I was worried I was not going to be able to find parts. I was able to identify the part number and order through customer service, so I am relieved I don't have to buy new fixtures...I will say that I had a similar issue with another brand, and theirs was warrantied for life, so that replacement has no charge...Wish delta had the same policy-but I am happy to be able to find the correct part.

On the trim of of my shower valve there is marking that says Delta Monitor 1700 series. Reseach says I should replace cartridge assembly RP32104, however, I have RP46463 installed due to grey color upper cap & V notch. Valves were replaced @ 13 yrs ago.

Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company! Our older 1700 series valve that uses RP32104 has a square slot on the side, and the valve will as well. If you have RP46463 with two sides that have the triangle slot, you have the ability to use any of our current trims aside from our Foundations collection and Integrated models and will use RP46463 for our 1700 series. Which replacement cartridge do I need to purchase? My shower valve is a Monitor 1700 series. The cartridge that I would like to replace has a grey cap. I'm not sure what year it was produced as it was installed in the house when I moved in.

I have a leaky shower faucet. My super said I need to replace the cartridge.  The shower plate I have says Delta 1700 series.  Will this cartridge fix the problem?

Can I replace a pre-2006 13/14 series cartridge (RP19804) with this 17 series valve with out replacing the rough in housing?

Our Delta Faucet Cartridge Assembly - Monitor® 17 Series (04/2006 And Earlier) MODEL#: RP32104 will not fit properly in your pre-2006 13/14 series rough valve. The pre-2006 rough valves were model-specific and would only allow for the RP19804 to fit. The pre-2006 rough valve will allow an update to a newer T13/14 trim, but you would still need to use the older RP19804. Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer. Will my pre 2005 1700 series valve and RP32104 cartridge work with present day 1700 series trim kits? Obviously the multi valve and cartridge is not useable with cutting into wall but is all the trim backwards compatible?

To determine if you have the RP32104 cartridge or the MultiChoice cartridge RP46463, a good way is the color of the top half of the cartridge. The part that sticks out of the valve. How do I adjust the water temperature from cold to hot on new valve.

Where can I buy temperature regulator piece? The piece that keeps the square white part that connects to the handle from spinning inside the toothed outer portion that spins to turn the water on and off. I need this for the RP32104.

Have a delta monitor tub/ shower faucet with temp controller as a black ring on front of faucet from 1992. Has grey piece with pin to engage the temp ring. Not getting hot water Volume, cold water volume is fine. Never adjusted, need replacement info

Are there any tub and shower kits that include this cartridge so I dont have to replace the valve in the wall?

The T17 trim kits come with a new cartridge however it will not fit in the pre 2006 valve, as long as there is not issue with your old cartridge it will not need to be replaced. Hello, I was looking to replace my old Monitor 17”0 series shower handle that’s pre 2006. It has the RP32104 cartridge. It is possible to pull out the cartridge and put in a different one for say the Delta Lahara and it work?
