PRODUCT FEATURES
Dual-function valve cartridge maintains a consistent water temperature from one shower to the next. Monitors water pressure to balance temperature. All Delta® tub and shower faucets are engineered to keep the water temperature within a safe ±3.6° F (±1.7° C)*. This technology makes sure your family doesn’t experience a sudden and possibly unsafe change in water temperature as a result of running water elsewhere, such as using a dishwasher, flushing a toilet or running a washing machine. The valve cartridge features an adjustable handle limit stop that, when properly set, helps ensure the handle cannot be turned to a position that is too hot for comfort*. Easily replaced seals make maintenance a snap. Comes with all Delta pressure balance tub and shower faucets. *Requires inlet water temperature be set correctly. May require seasonal adjustments.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Delta RP32104 I am using a licensed plumber and we are on my 4th RP32104 in 8 months. The first one we replaced to replace a gasket and that stopped the leak but after a month or so the handle spins around 360 and won't shut off the watter. I am not at all forceing or turning the handle with force because this cartridge cost $85 and I have purchased 4. I cannot change the housing without breaking tile and cuting the copper pipes but this is a bad design. Obviously Delta has changed the design because the old one lasted 17 years. This tiny square is the only thing that stops the handel from spinning around 360 and it keeps breaking. Can you help? This tiny

Rated 3 out of 5 by from single handle for RP32104 cartridge Just have plumber replaced RP32104 cartridge inside my Delta monitor series single handle, but the handle turn over 360, and couldn't stop at position of hot/cold water. Replaced second RP32104, still have same issue, handle could be turn over and over freely. I think I need to change this handle (should be around 15 years). Which single handle should I purchase to match this RP32104, would you send me a link?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent customer service I purchased my delta faucets over 20 years ago and when they required repair, I was worried I was not going to be able to find parts. I was able to identify the part number and order through customer service, so I am relieved I don't have to buy new fixtures...I will say that I had a similar issue with another brand, and theirs was warrantied for life, so that replacement has no charge...Wish delta had the same policy-but I am happy to be able to find the correct part.

My shower uses an RP32104 cartridge. I would like to change it out to a cartridge that does not have the "monitor" feature. I want to be able to adjust the water temp and water pressure with the single big faucet handle. Which cartridge do I use?

Is it common for these to leak behind the shower enclosure in the wall where they are roughed in?The faucet drips, so I am guessing it was the valve but just noticed water from underneath. I can’t see w/o cutting the wall out to see inside the wall.

I need to replace shower handle & trim for delta monitor series shower kit installed in 1997. Mine is broken and corroded. Cartridge still works but I am very confused about what trim kit can be used without having to change the valve and cartridge

What trim kits can be used with this cartridge? My handle is totally broken and corroded after being over 25 years old. I can't change the valve in the wall so I can just replace with same cartridge which is rp32. I just want to know what trim kit to use.

Is the replacement cartridge rp32104 covered under your lifetime warranty so that I can get it from you at no cost?

Hi Delta. My house was built in 2009 and i see it is using a monitor 1700. This is the kind that you can select your own temperature maybe they all are. Which part do i need because this one says before 2006? thanks

The volume handle is large, and the temperature handle is the smaller handle that sits on top of the volume handle. We appreciate your inquiry. Updating shower fixtures. Bought a new shower tub set, believe the new set has the cartridge for one handle RP46074. The old deltla cartridge looks to be a two handle RP32104. Can i use the old rough in valve? thanks

Hello GaryK, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! Our Delta valves post 2006 are universal which means you can use any trim kit and cartridge with the R10000-UNBX valve. However pre 2006 valves are model specific, and if you have a two handle shower you would need to buy a T17 trim and use the old cartridge RP32104. If you have a single handle shower you would have to purchase a T14 trim and use the old cartridge RP19804. Please contact us back for any further questions. Best Regards, Nicole

If you have a T14232 then you would need RP46074 if installed after 2006 and if installed before 2006 then it would be RP19804. If i have a bathroom that was installed in 2000 and i bought a RP32104 cartridge, but then had to replace the body too, with a supposed universal mount, then could Delta PLEASE post a compatibility chart/tool, or SOMETHING to let me know what i need?
