Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fit great Even though it is the original replacement part I was hoping to eliminate the by-pass leak. Evidently, the threads in the spout body are cross threaded or the washer wouldn't seat. The faucet has performed well otherwise, even though it's nearly 14 yrs old. Didn't use it and left the original one in place. Will have to purchase a new faucet eventually. Would consider this faucet again, however it is not competitive any longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Service! My 'dear' spouse discarded (permanently) the filter device I was taking several days to clean. Unfortunately, I had to order a NEW part. The price was reasonable, but I thought the shipping cost for such a small part was excessive, and said so. The company consequently reduced the shipping cost due to my complaint, and I thought it was not only fair, but quite considerate. I am quite pleased with my purchase, and theservice I received.

Kitchen faucet aerators - 1.8 gallons per minute or less

City is requiring kitchen faucet aerators of 1.8 GPM or less. Does Delta make an aerator that fits this requirement? If so, can I get an part number? Thanks in advance.

What is the procedure for replacing the aerator?

I have a reduced flow issue and suspect the aerator is clogged with bits of metal from old pipes. Before I replaced the faucet with the new 16997-SD-DST I would simply unscrew my old aerator and clean it. The aerator does not appear to easily unscrew on the new 16997 so I guess my question would be how to get the aerator out of the faucet? The only other assembly, with the reduced flow issues on both hot and cold water would be the valve assembly, correct?
Asked by: saltyfella
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 16997-SD-DST will have an aerator that should unscrew from the wand by using channel locks. We also recommend flushing the lines to remove any metal bits. This can be done by taking the wand off the hose and letting the water run freely for 1-3 minutes.

can't remove aerator

Delta 467-DST Palo Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet similar to this model, but there are three notches in the plastic around the aerator, and when I rotate the aerator with needle nose pliers(a very tight fit) it just turns and doesn't come out. the aerator is plastic and is round with no flats on the end like the one in the description for this model
Asked by: wisdomtooth
Hi wisdomtooth, Thank you for your question. The model 467-DST now ships with a cache aerator and a small blue t-shaped wrench that helps remove and install the aerator. This wrench can clip onto the pex supply lines underneath the sink. You can order the wrench and aerator as RP50815. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp50815.html Thanks, Dave

The aerator on our Model 468-SD-DST disintegrated. How do I remove the aerator and where can I buy the part? I looked all through your website and could not find the aerator part or the tool to remove the broken pieces. We really like the faucet but with out the aerator, the water comes out with too much force. Would like to keep this faucet.

where can i get a wrench for aerator RP32529?

Asked by: meg
Hi Meg, Thank you for your question! This aerator should unscrew by hand. If it is stuck, please try soaking the spout in a 50/50 white vinegar and water solution for about 15 minutes. It may also help to use a rubber jar opener to grip the aerator. Thanks, Jon

Do I need an "aerator key" to remove the broken aerator from my faucet?

Asked by: None

I'm trying to replace the aerator for my Signature kitchen faucet (Model 470-DST - I think!). The parts diagram shows a P/N of RP 76076 for aerator and wrench. The parts list shows the assembly with a P/N of RP 32529. Which should I order?

Asked by: Gail
Hi Gail, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP32529 aerator. We will be happy to assist you as quickly as possible. Yes, both part numbers are listed on part diagrams. The faucet model 470-DST transitioned from using the RP32529 aerator to using the RP76076 cache aerator and wrench. You should replace your aerator with the part with the same design as your current aerator. Please contact us directly if you have any questions or need additional assistance.
