Pricey but worth it
Existing faucet lasted almost ten years before the wand failed. I purchased a new wand and it was an exact fit and works. It was a bit pricey but is considerably less than a complete new faucet.

So far, so good
Our old sprayer started leaking, so we ordered a replacement. First impression is that the material seems cheaper. The old one was heavier and seemed constructed better. It lasted 12 years, so we'll see how the new one holds up. Also, the hose that came with it wouldn't work with our old hardware, so Delta had to send me another hose...free! Installing the new hose was a royal pain!

Ordered replacement faucet but I ordered wrong finish.Contacted company and replacement faucet was promptly delivered and they made return very easy and stress free.Would gladly use them again .

Exact Replacement
I bought this replacement faucet for a 7 year old unit that has been out of production for a few years. Had the exact replacement not been available, I would have had to change out the whole unit at a substantial cost. Faucets Direct had the exact replacement I needed and the change took less than five minutes. It works perfectly.

Lacks hose clip
The wand works fine but its description should mention a new, nondetachable hose comes with the wand and it doesn't include a hose clip. My old clip didn't fit it. I had to order a clip separately and pay shipping costs when I could have included the clip in the wand order if something in the wand description had told me about the hose and its clip.

Faucet wand replacement
perfect replacement part. But it came with no directions. I still had to get a buddy to show me how to effect the replacement. He is a pro and even he had some difficulty finding the way to open the new part.

Delta after the fact
It is nice to see good customer service, Many products today do not carry any "service" this is the second part that Delta has replaced for us at no cost. I will continue to by their products for our home, cabin and rental houses, Cost is not the only factor when purchasing quality product.

Functional (for now)
This wand works just fine. Unfortunately for me, it does not fit my faucet. The proper wand has been discontinued so this was the best I could do. It is somewhat frustrating that the wand it replaces was worn out after only three years and that the product was discontinued in that short period of time. This replacement wand "looks" like the original only it is sized just a bit smaller overall so that it doesn't fit the faucet correctly. The only other choice was to replace the entire faucet-not in the budget right now. For the cost, I would expect it to have lasted a much longer time. It seems this is way of most consumer goods-cheaply made, breaking easily and no replacement parts to be found. I don't expect this one to last any longer than the first one. Sad--

Faucet Wand Assembly Replacement
My landloard asked me to watch his dog while he went on a 7 day cruze. I agreed but found that he tried to fix his kitchen faucet. He's a older fela and likes to fix things if ya get my meaning. I was glad to help him out. I ordered what I needed and it was here in time for him to fix his faucet. He was very happy and I'm very pleased with the service that I got. Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen.

Easy as pie
Changed the wand on the sink faucet and now have a new one. No leaks easy as ever and very satisfied.
Unscrew the old and screw on the new with the fingers.

only complaint...catalog should have photo rather than drawing. i purchased chrome, should have ordered stainless steel. would have been able to tell difference with photo.
error did save a few dollars...

delta wand assembly Part# RP32542, does it come with the pull out tube? If not what is the part # for the pulll out tube
Hi John, Thank you for your question. The RP32542 wand assembly includes the spray hose used on our DST faucets. If you have a non-DST faucet you will also need to order the RP32527 hose.

Can this be taken apart for cleaning?
Thank you for your question, John! A Delta wand is not designed to be taken apart as there are no repair parts available. Doing so will damage the wand as well as void the warranty. Instead, we advise pouring a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water into the wand directly to removing mineral buildup.

I ordered an RP32542 Wand for 474 sink, but new wand is 1" longer than old one. Is there a smaller wand part?

Thank you for your question. The wand has been redesigned, but will still work with your faucet. The new wand will have an adapter that you can remove by pressing the small black button and unscrewing it from the wand. This will allow you to attach the original hose.
