In one of the three faucets I found a piece of rubber gasket stuck in the hot water tube when installing. I have been cleaning black specks from the aerator for years. The plastic insert recently broke and I tried three different hardware stores before checking here to find out the plastic insert is not replaceable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Quality Aerator Less than one year ago, I received two of these parts for my faucets. The screen part of the aerators are so brittle that they have fallen apart. The screen is just brittle plastic. For thirty dollars, this is a waste of money. Unfortunately, I have five of these Victorian faucets in my house. I have bought Delta faucets for years. I will make sure from now on that when I buy a new faucet, I will check to see if just the super cheap aerator insert can be replaced. What was Delta thinking when they make you replace the whole end of the faucet when the aerator goes bad? Oh, I know. Money. Now everyone who has these faucets has to pay Delta thirty bucks instead of going to the hardware store and paying two bucks.

Under the Model 35955 series faucet, the aerator part RP53343 is listed as discontinued and lists this one as a replacement. Please confirm the fit for this faucet.

The Delta Faucet aerator, part number RP54977, is available; however, this aerator has threads that measure 13/16”-27 compared to the aerator, part number RP34345RB-1.2 which has threads that measure 3/4”-27. Hello, I have both the Delta Victorian Venetian Bronze Widespread Kitchen Sink Faucet with Spray 555815 and Victorian Double Handle Deck Mounted Roman Tub Faucet Trim. Both have bad aerators. Can you provide the parts numbers needed to fix this issue?

Hi Donna G, Thank you for your question! A Delta Victorian widespread kitchen faucet like model 155-DST or 2256-DST would use aerator RP53998 or RP70746. A replacement spout tip and gasket for a Victorian T2755 or T4755 tub filler is RP34348CZ. Unfortunately, this is only available in Champagne bronze. This part is discontinued in other finishes.
