How do you remove the temperature knob cover?
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP34358 can be removed by grasping the peice on either side of the part and squeezing together gently. Then grasp the small handle and pull the cover off.

Is this a warrantied part. Why should I have to buy this part to fix a part prone to failing
