Rated 3 out of 5 by from Instructions lacking Parts may be fine and solve the problem (I don't know yet), but instructions are lacking. Your pictures of the individual parts in the kit are too small to see and they each need to be labeled with the name you have given them. Adjusting ring? Cap assembly? Your customer doesn't know what those parts are without a lot of effort. Your kit should have a list of what's included and a clear picture of what each part looks like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unbeatable customer service I have a kitchen faucet (Delta 470SS) installed back in 2006. Developed a slight leak over a year ago -- handle/lever had to be in a particular/off-center position to prevent drips. A few weeks ago, nothing would stop the dripping. Called Delta, they were kind enough to send this repair kit as well as a new ball assy - no charge! Although intimidating at first glance, very easy to install and now faucet works/feels like new. Delta fully supported my 14 year old faucet - how is that for customer service?! I am a huge Delta advocate. I actually bought a fancy new Kohler touchless faucet to replace the Delta, but I will now return it.

ANTI-Seize Ring

Is the ANTI -SEIZE RING still required to place on top of the newer CAM Assembly ( RP 188 ) before you put back the CAP/ Bonnet ? If so what is the PART Number of this Anti- Seize Ring and can it be purchased? --Thanks much
Asked by: DJ
Hi DJ, Thank you for your question. If your faucet came with an anti-seize ring, it should be installed with the new cam assembly. If it did not, the ring is not required. The anti-seize ring comes with the cap assembly, RP1050. Please note that this is not the same as the adjusting ring, which should not be used with the new cam. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp1050.html Best regards, Jon

What rebuild kit do I need to repair my Delta Model 470?

Delta Single Handle Pullout Signature Faucet Model 470 purchased back in Jul'05
Asked by: Slowrunna
Hi Slowrunna, Thank you for your question. We do not have a repair kit specific to the model 470. The equivalent parts to the RP3610 kit for the model 470 would be the RP61 cam assembly, the RP4993 seats and springs, and the RP32520 o-rings. Here is a link to the parts breakdown. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/470.html?document=pd&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper Thanks, Dave

Cannot find this reference to "what do i do when water drips from my single handle kitchen or lavatory faucet" kindly update the q and a and give the answer. Diagrams would help
Asked by: L
Hi L, Thank you for your question! Below is the information on " what to do when water drips from the aerator of single handle kitchen or lavatory faucet". It does show the diagram on the actual link of the FAQ's ( frequently asked questions) Your Delta® faucet is designed for leak-free performance. Through normal use, and depending on the water conditions in your area, seats and springs experience wear and may need to be replaced occasionally. It is also possible that there is sediment or debris in your faucet. If your faucet drips from the spout, follow these simple steps: First attempt to flush the debris from the system: Remove the aerator. Turn off the water supplies. Turn the faucet handle to the "on" position. Turn the water on at the supply. Flush the faucet and supply lines for one minute. Wash any debris from the aerator before you replace it. Turn off the water using the faucet handle. Next, check the seats and springs and the ball valve. You may need to replace those using Delta Genuine Parts. Shut off water supply. Cover drain opening so parts don't fall into it. If you have a lever handle with a red and blue hot/cold button, pry it off to expose the set screw. Loosen the set screw with an Allen wrench and remove the handle. If you have a knob handle, pry off the handle button, remove the screw and lift off the handle. Unscrew the cap counterclockwise and lift off. If the cap is too difficult to unscrew by hand, loosen the gray or white adjusting ring in the cap and try again. If it is still too difficult to remove by hand, place a crescent wrench at the top of it and turn counterclockwise. To avoid damaging the faucet finish, you may want to place a jar opener gripper between the cap and wrench or a heavy cloth such as a towel between the cap and wrench.CAUTION: IF YOU NOTICE THE CAM TURNING ALSO, QUIT TURNING IMMEDIATELY AND CALL A PLUMBER. Remove cam, packing and ball by lifting up on ball stem. Remove seats and springs. You can lift them out with a pencil or an Allen wrench. Wipe inside of body with a soft cloth, including where seats and springs sit. Place new seats over new springs (RP4993) and insert into sockets in body using a pencil or an Allen wrench. (Small end of spring goes into seat and large end of spring goes into the faucet body.) If a stainless steel ball is already installed, check it for damage or mineral deposits. Clean it by soaking it in vinegar and wiping it with a rough towel. If the ball appears to be scratched or damaged, you may also need to replace the ball. To replace a round-stem ball (cylindrical stem), use Delta Genuine Part RP70. To replace a diamond-stem ball (flat-sided stem), use Delta Genuine Part RP212. Place ball into body. (Lever handle faucet bodies will have a small straight steel pin inside; be sure to engage pin with slot on side of ball.) Place packing and cam over stem of ball and engage tab on cam with slot in body. (The peak of the triangle in the cam for a lever handle faucet will be facing the spout.) Push down. Partially unscrew adjusting ring and then place cap over ball stem and hand tighten onto body, while pushing down on cam to keep cam's tab engaged with slot in body. Tighten the adjusting ring until no water leaks around the stem when the faucet is in the full on hot and cold mixed position and pressure is exerted down on the handle. Loosening and tightening the adjusting ring also controls how hard or easy the handle is to use. Over tightening of the adjusting ring can cause premature wear of the seal surfaces necessitating frequent repairs. If the leak persists, check the faucet's stainless steel liners. Replace the entire faucet if the liners are missing, damaged or sticking up above the brass valve body. Should the "ball" be replaced when replacing the o -rings, seats and springs?

Asked by: Bob547
Hello Bob547, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Repair Kit RP3614. The seats and springs are the parts that wear over time. The ball assembly does not normally need to be replaced, we would recommend to clean off any mineral build up before reassembling your faucet. Please feel free to call, email, or message us on social if there is anything else you need. Received repair part RP3614 from Delta and want to know how much of the faucet needs disassembly to install the parts in repair kit?
Asked by: Rick
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP3614 is a repair that contains parts needed to repair a leaking faucet. We recommend turning off the water to the faucet and then removing the handle. Below the handle will be a cap and then a cam assembly which you can remove. The ball assembly is next followed by the seats and springs. To reassemble, just go backwards. Included here is the parts breakdown so you can see the parts in order. http://www.deltafaucet.com/customersupport/documentation/470.html?document=pd&documentIndex=0#flashWrapper

Asked by: johnp90
Thank you for your question, johnp90! The set screw used with the RP3714 repair kit takes a 1/8" allen wrench but may be stuck with a mineral deposits. Wrapping a rag soaked in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar for a half hour or more may help loosen this buildup. Best regards, Edward

What repair kit can I purchase for a 25 yr old B4410LF?

My 25 yr old faucet is leaking at the base of handle. Lower volume at the cold (right) side as the water pressure is deliberately set low but on the( left) side because of the dishwasher it is set much higher and the leak on that side is much greater. What "complete" repair kit do I order?

Hello Al! Thanks your for your question! You don't have the B4410LF as that faucet is not as old as yours. It's probably a 400 series faucet or something similar. Regardless, the RP3614 would be the correct kit to order. Best Regards, Justin

Newer One- piece RP 188 Cam Assembly

As I was reading here with the old 2- piece Cam and Packing ( RP 188 ) ---- loosening or tightening the Adjusting Ring on top ( required with the old 2 piece Cam assembly ) also controls how hard or easy the Handle or Knob is to Use. Now If I change to the New One- piece RP 188 Cam Assembly which NO Longer Uses the Adjusting Ring --How does that affect the control of the Knob with No more adjusting ring there to use ?
