how to remove for a new o ring

Asked by: kenn
Thank you for your question, kenn! First, grab the base of the spout and turn the bonnet sleeve counter-clockwise. Next, lift up on the spout and remove the retainer clip to slide off the old bonnet, washer and retainer clip and and then you can install the new O-ring. Please contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance. https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/36308RevD.pdf Best regards, Edward

This portion of the faucet is leaking. I have the new bonnet and replacement clip as pictured above . (RP37022SS) How do I remove the old bonnet from the faucet assembly. When I remove the old assembly it appears the clip is broken.New Clip pre-inset?

Asked by: Jeff
Hello Jeff, Thank you for your question. To replace the spout bonnet and washer, grab the base of the spout and turn the bonnet skirt/sleeve under the Delta logo counter-clockwise. Once the bonnet is unscrewed, lift up on the spout and remove the retainer clip to slide off the old bonnet parts and install the new parts. The retainer clip is designed with a slit/opening on the side, for installation purposes. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/Models_155_156-WF.pdf Best regards, Tanya

My faucet color is Brilliance. Don't see the parts in that color. Can you buy the washer only?

Asked by: Rick
Hi Rick, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP37022SS is available in Chrome, Stainless Steel and Venetian Bronze. It cannot be broken down into smaller parts. Brilliance is not a finish that we manufactured. It is a process that we use to coat the faucets to make them easier to clean. Thanks. Jody

How to remove old bonnet (RP37022) from spout assembly on Delta 36308 model 156?

Asked by: Leslie
Hello, Thank you for your question! The aerator on model 156 simply unthreads by twisting it counterclockwise. If removal is difficult you will want to wrap a cloth soaked in a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water for at least an hour. This will help break down the mineral buildup in the threads to allow for easier removal. Please reach out with further questions! Best Regards, Tim Digital Communications Specialist

I received RP37022RB. Is the white retainer clip supposed to have a slit (cut out) in it (i.e. not solid)?  I have not removed the original faucet yet, so I don't have a comparison.
