Spray Button Fails Around 2 Years
Buttons on this sprayer for my 172 Waterfall faucet fail under 2 years with less than average use. First time, spring broke. Now the replacement's button is jamming 'on' and we have to fool around to get the water back to the faucet. The original sprayer lasted over 20 years. So some thing is wrong with this design.
It is also a shame that Delta doesn't have the option to just send the spray handle alone versus with the hose each time. I now have a collection of unused hoses.

Looks & works Great
It was a perfect matching replacement part for my old faucet. I had planned to replace the entire faucet when the spray hose part broke but we could not find one that my wife liked. She loves the brass & chrome color mix and all the new ones we saw in area stores were just all chrome. Replacement spray hoses were either white or black plastic or all chrome. This brass & chrome replacement part is a perfect match and works great. Wife's happy, so I'm happy...

my delta sprayer is stuck open! can this be fixed by cleaning with a solvent?
Or is there parts to fix this problem? Or is it just best to replace it with a new sprayer head?
Hi RB, Thank you for your question. We would recommend first removing the spray head and soaking it in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to help break up any mineral build up. If that does not solve the issue you will want to replace the spray and hose assembly.

NEW HOSE OR OLD HOSE??
I need two Delta p/n RP39345, in polished brass finish. I am uncertain whether the hoses are a quick-connect or a conventional threaded model. The hose attachment points are nearly inaccessible behind the deep sinks these faucet units serve, and I have crow-foot wrenches if they become necessary. Question: considering that the hose attachments are in a near-invisible site, how can I best determine whether they are quick-connect or conventional? We purchased this faucet unit in 1998 or '99 when we built our home.

Thank you for your question. Your faucet will require an RP41478 Threaded to Quick Connect Adapter and an RP6015 support assembly to use this sprayer and hose. Faucets manufactured prior to 2003 will have a threaded connection.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP39345 is available in Chrome, Polished Brass, Stainless Steel, White, Chrome/Brass combination, and for a short time in Pearl Nickel. The Pearl Nickel finish is being obsoleted but we do still have inventory available. If you are looking for a brushed nickel look, we would recommend either Stainless Steel or Pearl Nickel.

To purchase the spray head only? Mine is leaking from behind the button but the hose is fine.
Or is it possible to pop the button lose so I can clean behind it with out breaking the plastic?

What if the assembly I am replacing is not quick connect?
It appears to be connected with a hex nut. Is there an adapter, or a model with the old type fitting?
Hi Rob, Thank you for your question. The RP41478 will adapt the threaded connection to a quick connect. This will allow you to connect the RP39345 hose to a non-quick connect model kitchen faucet.

Our #174 WF faucet drips. What accessories do we need to fix it?
Our faucet (#174 WF) has been slowly dripping for some time. How do we fix this and what do we need to fix it?
Hi Bobbe, Thank you for your question. To stop the faucet from dripping when the handle is in the off position you will want to replace the RP4993 seats and springs. The seats and springs are located in the valve body underneath the ball assembly on your model 174-WF. Here is a link to our how to change the seats and springs video.

Thank you for your question! To replace the sprayer only, you can unscrew the sprayer assembly from the gray nut on the end of the hose and screw on the new sprayer.

What sprayer model is the right size for me?
My old kitchen sink side sprayer sticks up right about 4" from the support piece. What models will match this height?

All Collins and Classic models will have a sprayer that is 4 3/4"(121 mm) high from the counter, or about 4" from the top of the base. If you find a model you like and aren't sure about the height of the sprayer, you can check the technical specifications found under the Documents and Specs tab of each model. Hi KPH, Thank you for your question. The spray assembly and hose for the RP39345 and RP28900 are identical. The RP28900 comes with adapters to convert the hose quick connect to older model faucets with different connections.

Need instructions on how to disconnect the spray and hose assembly from the faucet.
There is a "quick disconnect" system that I can't figure out.
HI dmh, Thank you for your question. To remove the quick connect squeeze the bottom of the gray/black plastic. You should see the top of the plastic assembly open up. Push up slightly and pull down to remove the hose.

I recommend soaking the sprayer in 50/50 white vinegar and water to help dissolve mineral deposits that may be causing the issue.
A replacement for the RP39345WH is available, but unfortunately, we don't carry the sprayer as an individual part.

I purchased your Delta Collins Kitchen Faucet w/ side sprayer 4 years ago. The side sprayer is now stuck 'ON'... I have disassembled the sprayer handle, soaked in vinegar, lubricated all internal parts and it's still stuck in the 'open' or 'on position.
