Rated 1 out of 5 by from Spray Button Fails Around 2 Years Buttons on this sprayer for my 172 Waterfall faucet fail under 2 years with less than average use. First time, spring broke. Now the replacement's button is jamming 'on' and we have to fool around to get the water back to the faucet. The original sprayer lasted over 20 years. So some thing is wrong with this design. It is also a shame that Delta doesn't have the option to just send the spray handle alone versus with the hose each time. I now have a collection of unused hoses.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Updated design This was a replacement part and was a perfect match for the existing one. In fact it actually works better and appears that it will last longer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best purchase ever just received delivery and sink up and running in less than two minutes. Considering I could not even find the part elsewhere I'd be safe in saying it was a good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks & works Great It was a perfect matching replacement part for my old faucet. I had planned to replace the entire faucet when the spray hose part broke but we could not find one that my wife liked. She loves the brass & chrome color mix and all the new ones we saw in area stores were just all chrome. Replacement spray hoses were either white or black plastic or all chrome. This brass & chrome replacement part is a perfect match and works great. Wife's happy, so I'm happy...

Q&A

Connector

I have a Delta Waterfall faucet with side spray purchased before 2000, probably model 172-WHWF, and I need to replace the side spray assembly. This looks like the part I need but I'm thinking this has a quick connect fitting on the end and my existing side spray does not (screws in). Will this part work? If not, what should I purchase?
Asked by: Terry K
Dear Terry K, Thank you for your question. Yes, the RP39345WH is a Delta Quick Connect Spray and Hose Assembly. If you do not have the Quick Connect unit, you will need the RP28900WH. This sprayer and hose assembly is also a Quick Connect, but comes with the threaded to Quick Connect adapter kit, to attach to your faucet. Best regards, Tanya

How do I unconnect the quick connect fitting?

The diverter handle has come loose and I need to disconnect the spryer hose to get at the nut to tighten it.
Asked by: Perplexed
Hi Perplexed, Thank you for your question. The easiet way to disconnect the hose from the spout is to first grasp the two sides of the sprayer at the spout connection and squeeze slightly. After that, push up on the sprayer and then pull it down to separate. Thanks. Jody

Can I get this spray assembly with a threaded connection rather than a quick connect?

Asked by: jo
Hi, Jo! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we no longer have a threaded connection sprayer assembly. We do have an adapter if you do need the threaded part. The adapter is RP41478. Here is a link for the part: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP41478 Best Regards, Rosanna

I need a replacement sprayer for my delta faucet. I'm not sure what finish to order.

I thought it was satin nickel or brushed nickel and don't see that finish listed. What would be comparable?
Asked by: Denise
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP39345 is available in Chrome, Polished Brass, Stainless Steel, White, Biscuit, Chrome with Polished Brass, and Pearl Nickel. The difference between Stainless Steel and Pearl Nickel is that Stainless Steel has visible brush strokes in the finish and Pearl Nickel is more of a matte finish.

how do i remove the old one to install the replacement oneRP39345SS

Asked by: clueless
Hi, Clueless! Thank you for your question. To remove the quick connect connection on the Delta RP39345SS Sprayer and Hose Assembly first squeeze the bottom of the gray/black plastic. You should see the top of the plastic assembly open up. Push up slightly and pull down to remove the hose. Best Regards, Rosanna
