Stopped drips
Had drips after a couple years. Purchased cartridges but still water drips. When I ordered the RP4993 and put them in, stopped drip! Original should have lasted longer.

The Washer
Delta makes these spring and washer combinations to be used in their shower valve and bathroom and kitchen sink faucets. The parts are fairly easy to replace but the rubber seal has a tendancy to wear out rather quickly. However, if you take the time to polish the areas that the washer contacts with a mild metal cleaner such as flitz or something similar, the life of the washer will be extended considerably. The parts are cheap, and the fix is quick. Who wants to replace the faucet when these small parts will do the job?

Great buying experience! I didn't have a part number when I started. Your system identified my (discontinued) kitchen faucet thru a series of questions, showed all parts, etc. Ordered what I thought I needed, recieved it in a couple of days, and hooray! Faucet drip fixed without a plumber service call. Must have saved at least $145. Kudos on a well designed site and service.

Very fast service
We had been unable to fine this part locally and not even the plumbing stores carried them. The cost of shipping was well worth getting the parts. We were able to fix two of our facuets. Disappointed that we had to repair them since they are just 4 yrs old. We thought they were a better facuet then that when we built our new home.

the white plastic stem unit will not come out of the faucet to allow repair parts to be used. Model RP 4993. Any suggestions on how to remove this piece?
Thank you for your question, Robert! The stem unit assemblies will be held in place with a bonnet nut. After removing this nut the stem should simply pull out, however if mineral build up is preventing this, we recommend pouring a 50/50 mix of white vinegar and water onto the stem units and allow this to sit for at least thirty minutes or more. Please contact us directly if you need further assistance removing these parts.

Are the Seats & Springs that are in Bulk Kit RP4039 the correct Seats & Springs to go with Lavatory Faucets which accept Stem RP25513-3 Replacements?

My kitchen faucet is model 2402LF. Is this model RP4039 the same as model RP4993 for the seats and springs. The only difference being quantity?

Thank you for your question! This part is used on many different faucets. Please refer to the diagram for your specific model. The spring will go into the valve with the wide end in first and the rubber seat fits over the small end of the spring with the flatter side facing out.
