Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced leaking hose. Very simple repair. Smart design from Delta. Took me 10 minutes to replace sprayer hose...and I took my time. Quick clip works very well. O-ring on faucet side I just tore/ripped off because new hose comes with a replacement o-ring. Sprayer end just screws on and faucet end just snaps on. Very easy/ smart design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect fit! I bought a hose with some guess work and boy, it did not come close. I have online chat with a Delta rep and guided me to the right part. (You guys are awesome-keep it up!) Also, processed my returned part-and credited my account without delay!!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement much better than the original The faucet came with a hose that was difficult to slide in and out, and it could get kinks easily that, for me, resulted in a leak. This replacement is a smooth operator, and it looks like it will be much more durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install Super easy to install with simple directions. The new one is much narrower than my old hose thus making it much easier to pull out. Our 20+ years old bathroom faucets(Moen)still works good, we should have stayed w/ Moen and a lil more!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple It would have been a lot easier if I could have just bought the part I needed at the store. The stores no longer carry the hose that I needed to repair so I had to go on a man hunt online all while I tried to rig my faucet to stop leaking all over while I waited for the part to arrive. Although, the faucet hose was easy to snap on and off once I realized how it was suppose to be

Q&A

How do I f ind the model# of Delta faucet installed in the new home I bought in 2003.

Asked by: Papazec
Thank you for your question. The model for your home should be on your paperwork for your faucet. At that time, we were not including model numbers on the faucets themselves. If you do not have your paperwork, you may send a picture of your faucet to our Home Owner/Warranty line at customerservice@deltafaucet.com.

Not sure what Delta faucet I have. Need to replace leaking hose

My Faucet is about eight years old I am unable to identify which model it is. The hose is leaking out the side. I need to replace the hose what part do I need? Please help me I am being held hostage by this. It needs to be fixed it is the only Faucet we have in our kitchen.
Asked by: Tab
Hi Tab, Thank you for your question. The RP44647 pull out hose is used on our non-dst faucets. The RP50390 hose assembly is used on our faucets that have DST (diamond seal technology) as a feature and in the model number. The DST faucets were introduced in 2007. The easiest way to tell the non-dst vs the dst faucets is by the supply lines. The DST faucets will have gray pex/plastic lines that run out of the faucet and all the way down directly to the water shut off valves. The non-DSt faucets will generally have copper tubing coming out of the faucet and then trasnsitioning to a traditional plastic, vinyl, or metal braided faucet supply line. Thanks, Dave

What are the tricks to get the new hose through the faucet, seems to get hung up.

Asked by: Glenn
Thank you for your question, Glenn! When you get to the point where the hose is getting hung up try twisting the hose while applying pressure to help guide the hose through the opening. The hose assembly should just slide through the spout arm and the body of the faucet. Best regards, Tanya

how do I remove the hose assembly quick connection under the sink ?
Asked by: Al
Hi Al, I am sorry to hear about the trouble that you are having with this hose. To remove the hose from the connection under the sink, grasp the spine side of the clip and pull away from the hose/connection. Once this clip has been removed, the hose will pull off the copper line with very little force.

RP44647 unable to connect to valve shaft

I am unable to connect the Delta RP44647 replacement hose on to my valve shaft. I have provided a photo showing the original hose compared to the replacement hose RP44647 along with a picture of the valve shaft. As you can see the original hose has a silicon rubber insert which fits over the valve shaft perfectly. The RP44647 does not have this design. Please provide instruction on how to attach RP44647 to my valve shaft. Thank you.
Asked by: Dels
Thanks Dave! That was it! I just used a pair of needle nose pliers and pulled right off the brass fitting and new replacement hose attached to the valve shaft very easily. I greatly appreciate Delta's fast response and excellent support!

replacement guide

Do you have a guide showing how to replace the RP44647 hose?
Asked by: MoBell
Hi MoBell, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a guide available. To replace the hose, first make sure your supplies are turned off. Remove the clip from the connection under the sink and pull down on the hose to remove it. Then, pull out the hose from above the sink. Unscrew the hose from the wand assembly, attach the new hose, and slide it down through the faucet. Finally, push the hose onto the pipe nipple and attach the clip. Make sure the 2 longer prongs are in the slots on the hose, and the shorter part of the clip is attached to the hose. Best regards, Jon

Hose won't push onto valve shank.

We replaced a split original hose for a Delta pullout kitchen faucet with RP44647, but the hose end with clip properly in place won't push onto the valve shank. Should it be this difficult? It seems to require more force than we can give it. I am cursing the designer. What suggestions do you have?

I have the model 470 pull out faucet in my home that is 10 years old. The hose is leaking at the very top where the sprayer nozzle fits.

It does't leak when the spray nozzle is off, but it also isn't usable. We have a feeling it's the o-ring at the tip, but can't seem to find any information about what size it is to get it replaced. Please help. An o-ring is much cheaper than a new hose. Thank you.

Removal of hose clip assembly

I need to remove the clip, RP32522 and hose assembly, RP44647 in order to tighten the faucet to the sink. I ordered and received part RP11752 for this purpose. How do I remove the clip the where the hose meets the valve shank? I don't understand what the black plastic clip does? Can I just pull down on it to remove it? Is there a danger of ruining this connection if I use the wrong pressure? How does a plastic clip ensure that the connection is secure? Thanks, SteveCO
Asked by: SteveCO
Hi SteveCO, Thank you for your question. To remove the RP32522 clip pry the open ends of the clip apart and pull off. Once the clip is removed there is nothing mechanical holding on the hose. Grab both sides of the connection and pull the hose off of the connection, do not simply pull down on the hose.. The RP32522 clip locks the connection in place once the hose is fitted onto the faucet. Thanks, Dave

Did I buy the right hose assembly?

I just bought a hose assembly RP44647 but it does not look correct where the hose connects to the faucet wand. I want to make sure I bought the right part before I open it. I am attaching photos of the faucet wand connection and the hose connection to the faucet wand. The hose for RP44647 has an extra piece that does not look like it will allow enough room for the threads to connect with the threads on the faucet wand. Also, the faucet wand has a little metal piece sticking out of it, which it looks like will not fit into the connection for RP44647. Help! I haven't had a properly working kitchen faucet for 2 weeks. The hose leaks just below the faucet wand connection.
Asked by: Meg
Hi Meg, Thank you for your question. The metal piece sticking out of the wand is part of the old hose assembly. You will need to pull that piece out with pliers and once removed the new hose should fit properly in the wand. Thanks, Dave

Faucet 19922 DST- The plastic hose clamp slides over the top of the hose assembly when snapped shut. It came out of the box clamped on the cold water

How do I make it fit clamp to the hose assembly connection?
Asked by: LB
Hi LB, Thank you for your question. The clamp attached to the cold water line is a sensor tag placed in retail model faucets that should be removed and disgarded as it is not part of the faucet. The model 19922-SD-DST uses a blue or black u-shaped channel clip to attach the hose to the faucet shank. Thanks, Dave

Will this hose fit my faucet?

I do not have the model number for this older faucet. Please see attached photo of the faucet and let me know if this will fit or which model hose I need. Thank you.
Asked by: blau
Hi Blau, Thank you for your question. The RP44647 hose assembly would be the correct hose for the older model 470 faucet. This faucet will have copper lines running out of the bottom of the faucet and would require that additional supply lines be purchased to attach the faucet to the water shut offs/stops. The replacement hose assembly for the newer model 470-DST is the RP74608. The DST version of the faucet will have pex/plastic lines running out of the bottom of the faucet all the way to the water supply stops. Thanks, Dave
