Hi. Our faucet won't easily turn off w/o playing w/the handle. We're also seeing small black fiber-like flecks of debris in our water. Both issues started around the same time. The valve & wand were both replaced about a year ago. Can you please help? Thx

Wand assembly RP47152 makes a loud whistling sound on normal or regular flow but does not on spray flow. Can it be repaired and if so how ?

Hello Jack76, Thank you for your question! I am happy to help you! If your Delta wand RP47152 is having a whisting sound and wont spray then it would be caused by debris. We would recommend soaking the wand in a 50/50 white vinegar, this would help break up the debris to stop the whistling and allow for better spray features. Is the spray head for 470 AR covered under your lifetime warranty?

Our warranty is, All parts (other than electronic parts and batteries) and finishes of Delta® faucets purchased from authorized Delta sellers are warranted to the original consumer purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns the home in which the faucet was first installed. Would this (RP47152SS) work as a replacement wand for a Delta #474 faucet purchased in 2006? If I purchase this and it doesn't work, can i return it and get a refund?

This part does not have any replaceable parts. We apologize for any inconvenience. Recommended maintenance is to soak the spray head in 50/50 white vinegar and water, then rinse. This will dissolve mineral deposits and debris that can cause issues.
