Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not fix leak for 25999LF Haywood faucet I bought these yesterday after calling and confirming with the phone support that they are the correct replacement for the issue I am experiencing (water leaking through the handles). I was careful to check that no other parts would be needed to resolve that issue and I was assured that no other parts are needed. I swapped in these replacements and it was much worse. The water continues to flow out of the faucet no matter what position the stem is in. I rotated the stem a full 360 degrees multiple times to be sure and at no point did the water turn off. I previously loved Delta products and was looking forward to being able to continue using the faucets that I have. But, combine the frustrations of the continued leaks, corrosion on the faucet stainless steel, and getting in touch with customer service being cumbersome (16+ min wait to speak to someone yesterday around lunchtime and 20+ min wait to speak with someone later in the day), I’m probably just going to cut my losses at this point and go for some new faucets from another brand. It might have been a different experience if I had been able to get the correct information in a timely manner. Does anyone have that kind of time to wait to speak with someone to experience more issues with the replacement part? Frustrating

I went to install them in a Delta Victorian faucet that was leaking, and having problems, the first one broke on me, so I used the 2nd one not going to be able to work on my end that was my for my hot water and it also broke in the same manner. It is at this point I am not thrilled.At this point I put the older part back in for now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't last very long Had it installed for about 2 years before it started leaking. Now I can't find the part locally, not even where I bought the faucet (Lowe's). It's on-line but costs over $25 w/ shipping. Time to go buy a new faucet, maybe a Moen, I heard they last longer.

Replaced the cartridge without a problem with the stop in the back for cold water.  However, the faucet handle turns the wrong way. - backwards. If I move stop to front the handle won’t seat properly or turn.

I have a Dryden bath faucet that needs a new stem do to a leak under the handle. Will the RP47422 cartridge work? The faucet is 13 years old. The 4722 looks correct but I’d like to confirm prior to buying. The current stem does have the Qrt turn grey.

Hi Chris, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP47422. Dryden faucet models 2551LF and 3551LF, which are not DST models, use RP25513 stem with RP4993 seat and spring. Can this ceramic stem be used to replace a washer stem? I would like to convert my delta faucets installed in 2003 to ceramic stems. This looks very similar to the current rubber washer stem assemblies.

Unfortunately, this Delta Faucet RP47422 Stem Unit Assembly is not interchangeable with the RP24096 or RP25513 stem unit assemblies your faucet utilizes. We recommend the RP8230 Ceramic Stem Unit and ceramic seats and springs. Please see the following link for more information. I own Two Handle Widespread Haywood model # 35999LF-ss.The cold handle leaks between the base and handle. Part #RP47422 looks completely different from the original. Plus there is a seat and spring at the bottom of original. Please help.

I previously purchased a two handle widespread faucet inspotshield in brushed nickel from Delta. I need to know the cartridge part number is for this faucet. The model is Rila 35774LF-SP. I believe it's still under warranty to get free cartridges.

I have a what appears to be a Delta Haywoodt#: 25999LF fixture, replaced seats but weeps on the hot side when the cold is turned on. Should I replace the stems" RP47422 or is it just the O ring?

are there different stems for hot or cold sides? plumbing store sold me RP24096 but the handle does not turn in the right direction

Hi Thomas, Thank you for your question! The Delta Faucet RP24096 is used in both hot and cold valves. It is recommended to replace RP4993 seats and springs when replacing this stem. Install the stem assembly in the same orientation as the original piece. Align tabs on the stem unit body to the notches on the valve with the raised stop on the same side as the removed stem. Turn the stem's flat side to the same side as the removed stem. For knob handles, the stops typically point toward the spout. For lever handles, the stops typically point towards the right. I called to get a free replacement part.  Even had the old part and the part number.  Your rep told me that the part I needed was not that one and, of course, sent the wrong one. The plumber is here, $100 trip fee, and guess what, it’s the wrong part.

I purchased a RP47422 stem unit from the local hardware store. One of the stems I needed to rotate 180 degrees and when I removed it the blue gasket pulled out and the two white parts fell out. What is the proper orientation for these parts?
