Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good sprayer that has developed a leak Despite being soaked in vinegar periodically, sprayer has developed a leak when in use. In addition to water from the spout it also pours out of the edge. Hopefully we can get a replacement under Delta"s lifetime warranty policy. Beyond this one fail, sprayer has worked great since it was installed when home was purchased in 2009.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low flow after two years Well add me to the low flow problem. It is in my second home which sees littl use and has a water softener and i have cleaned it n more than once and now spending 250.00 plus for a new one. This should have replaceable internal parts if it is only going to last a few years. Very disappointed for the initial price we paid.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Clogs up Low water flow. Corrodes with hard water, and flow goes to near zero. I had mine about 5 years, and it sounds like I got lucky that it lasted that long.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful Faucet, but Major Decline in Performanc I purchased this Delta faucet about four years ago and initially loved everything about it—the design, the finish, and especially the multi-spray functionality. Unfortunately, as the faucet has aged, the water flow has noticeably decreased to the point that it’s no longer performing the way it should. I’ve followed all of the recommended troubleshooting steps, including soaking components in a 50/50 vinegar solution, but the issue persists. After researching, it’s clear that many other customers have experienced similar flow problems with this model, which is disappointing for a brand I’ve trusted and chosen for its reputation for quality. I expected more long-term reliability from Delta. The faucet looks great, but the performance decline has been frustrating, and I’m hoping Delta will address this known issue so customers can continue to feel confident in their products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low Water Pressure I agree with a majority of the folks who have had continuing issues with low pressure. I have repeatedly followed Delta's recommendations of cleaning out the filter and head with vinegar solution, etc. It does not work. Within days of cleaning pressure is low again. Very frustrating, and no real answer except to get a replacement head. I purchased my faucet about two years ago through Ferguson appliance, which is always helpful, but they have no real answer either. To everyone experiencing this issue -- get a new faucet and do not get another Delta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Same issues as others have stated! The faucet clogs frequently has to be cleaned with a vinegar solution. Mine also rusted, after which the entire faucet had to be replaced!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This faucet is terrible. I had this faucet and all of a sudden no water pressure. Have been dealing with this for over a week. I'm soaking it in vinger and water like I seen on here to do. I will be calling in the morning for a replacement if this does not fix it. mine is less than 1 year old. Maybe 6 months.

Can the aerator be removed?

Asked by: Jackie
Hi, Jackie! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP51480 sprayer assembly aerator is removeable. To remove the RP50815 aerator, use the aerator wrench, RP52217. Here are links to these parts: https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP50815 https://www.deltafaucet.com/parts-product-detail?modelNumber=RP52217 Best Regards, Rosanna

How do you disassemble to clean for low flow?

Asked by: Matt
Hi Matt, Thank you for your question. Your faucet would have came with a small blue T-shaped wrench that will allow you to remove the aerator from the RP51480 wand assembly. Check the supply lines under the sink for the wrench as it can clip onto the pex supply lines. If you need the wrench it can be ordered as part of RP50815. http://www.deltafaucet.com/repairparts/details/rp50815.html You can soak the wand assembly in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water to help clean the mineral build up, be sure to rinse when done. Thanks, Dave Thanks, Dave

How does this come apart for cleaning?

Asked by: Gary6557
Thank you for your question, Gary6557! A Delta wand is not designed to be taken apart and does not have any repair parts available. It can be removed from the pull down hose to check the debris screen on the back for sediment. Please contact us directly if you have questions or need further assistance with this part. How do I install the sprayer assembly with hose?

I received a new RP51480SP replacement for a leak that I am having. I turned off the water, took the clip off between the hose assembly and water line, and removed the old one. When I try to put the new one through the faucet surround it gets stuck around the area where the "friction spacer" is. How do I get the new hose to go all the way down?
Asked by: Zack
Dear Zack, Thank you for your question. To install the hose assembly, you make need to remove the spout arm from your faucet body, then install the hose through the spout and then down the faucet body opening. https://media.deltafaucet.com/PartsDiagram/DPD-K-9178-DST.pdf Best regards, Tanya

What size O-rings inside

After about 1 year of use, I soaked the wand assembly in a vinegar solution to remove buildup, and after that, the spray select mechanism has started to fail. When i press the button to select spray, some water still drips out the aerator. When I press the button for the aerator, some water still drips out the spray ports. I believe replacing the o-rings on the spray select mechanism inside this assembly would help, but i need to know the part number or specs of the o-ring. Thanks.

Hi Sean, Thank you for your question. Unfortunately we do not offer the internal components of the 51480SS wand assembly as separate items. The entire wand will need to be replaced. Thanks, Dave
