Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unacceptable water flow Worked well initially but add me to the unacceptable low flow category .Purchased 10/2023. Water pressure seems to be fine with the nozzle head removed. I’ve cleaned the filter, soaked the nozzle head and filter in vinegar countless times but the flow got worse and is very weak and unusable as a kitchen faucet. I’m in the market for a replacement.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good sprayer that has developed a leak Despite being soaked in vinegar periodically, sprayer has developed a leak when in use. In addition to water from the spout it also pours out of the edge. Hopefully we can get a replacement under Delta"s lifetime warranty policy. Beyond this one fail, sprayer has worked great since it was installed when home was purchased in 2009.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Low flow after two years Well add me to the low flow problem. It is in my second home which sees littl use and has a water softener and i have cleaned it n more than once and now spending 250.00 plus for a new one. This should have replaceable internal parts if it is only going to last a few years. Very disappointed for the initial price we paid.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Clogs up Low water flow. Corrodes with hard water, and flow goes to near zero. I had mine about 5 years, and it sounds like I got lucky that it lasted that long.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor quality. It lasted two years and had to be replaced

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful Faucet, but Major Decline in Performanc I purchased this Delta faucet about four years ago and initially loved everything about it—the design, the finish, and especially the multi-spray functionality. Unfortunately, as the faucet has aged, the water flow has noticeably decreased to the point that it’s no longer performing the way it should. I’ve followed all of the recommended troubleshooting steps, including soaking components in a 50/50 vinegar solution, but the issue persists. After researching, it’s clear that many other customers have experienced similar flow problems with this model, which is disappointing for a brand I’ve trusted and chosen for its reputation for quality. I expected more long-term reliability from Delta. The faucet looks great, but the performance decline has been frustrating, and I’m hoping Delta will address this known issue so customers can continue to feel confident in their products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low Water Pressure I agree with a majority of the folks who have had continuing issues with low pressure. I have repeatedly followed Delta's recommendations of cleaning out the filter and head with vinegar solution, etc. It does not work. Within days of cleaning pressure is low again. Very frustrating, and no real answer except to get a replacement head. I purchased my faucet about two years ago through Ferguson appliance, which is always helpful, but they have no real answer either. To everyone experiencing this issue -- get a new faucet and do not get another Delta.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Same issues as others have stated! The faucet clogs frequently has to be cleaned with a vinegar solution. Mine also rusted, after which the entire faucet had to be replaced!

Where is the model number on this part (wand assembly) or on the entire faucet for the finish and color. I do know that I have the Delta Leland single handle faucet?

Asked by: Kay P
Hi Kay P, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP51480SP. Unfortunately, the model number is not written on the part. The faucet model number would be on a tag on the supply line. For a Leland pull-down faucet like 9178-DST, a replacement sprayer is RP51480 or RP90841 with ShieldSpray. Please reach out with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan

Hi Travis! Thank you for your question and we are happy to help. The Delta RP51480RB is the only replacement and attaching products that are not Delta Faucet original parts will void the warranty. How can I determine if I need to replace only the spray assembly or the entire sprayer with hose? The sprayer is toggle is sticky so I can easily toggle between spray or running water but I'm wondering if I'm best served by replacing the both parts.

Asked by: Shannan28
Hi Shannan28, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet RP51480. This replacement sprayer includes a replacement hose. Soaking the sprayer in 50/50 white vinegar and water can help remove mineral deposits that cause an issue with the button. If the issue remains, we recommend replacing the sprayer. Please reach out for further assistance or with any additional questions! Best Regards, Bryan Digital Communications Specialist

I have the Leland kitchen faucet without the shield spray.  It works fine so I don’t really need to replace the entire faucet. Could I buy just the spray attachment because I’m wanting the shield spray?

I am looking to replace the spray assembly on my faucet because it seems clogged up, the connector to the hose fell off because there is a plastic ring that broke.  Can I get one of those too?
