How do you insert this item

Asked by: lfigueroa0158
Hi, lfigueroa0158! Thank you for your question. The RP51919 diverter cartridge assembly can be installed into the R11000 diverter valve body by first unscrewing the bonnet nut around the body. Insert the cartridge straight into the body. Rescrew the bonnet nut to hold the cartridge in. Here is a link the manual for our diverter trim kits that comes with the diverter cartridge: https://media.deltafaucet.com/MandI/81616%20Rev%20A.pdf Best Regards, Rosanna

We just installed a R11000 diverter rough in to our shower. Which cartridge (non shared) the RP51919, RP51918 or RP71718 would work best

to control 3 shower functions (non shared). i.e. Delta Wall shower head, Hand held shower head, and a Ceiling mounted rain shower head ?
Asked by: Danny
Hi Danny, Thank you for your question. The RP71718 cartridge is for 3 individual positions and no shared positions for use with the R11000 diverter rough. Thanks, Dave

Can the rp51918 be replaced with the rp51919 ?

Our diverter arrived with a broken brown disc inside of the diverter and we have 3 diifferent options in our shower so we would like to replace it with a better one
Asked by: GB
Thank you for your post. Delta Faucet model #RP51918 can be replaced by Delta Faucet model #RP51919. The difference is that RP51918 is a 3 setting diverter cartridge and RP51919 is a 6 setting diverter cartridge. This 6 setting diverter cartridge allows for 3 individual positions and 3 shared positions.

I have both 3 & 6-setting (RP71718, RP51919) diverter cartridges. I mixed up the 2 parts, don't know which is which. Mfg part # etched on each: "Fluhs 72122 190103" & "Fluhs 60563 181019" Can someone confirm? rather not go thru test & swap guessing game

Asked by: natesc0tt
Thank you for your review, natesc0tt! The numbers on these cartridges can change however a reliable way to tell the difference is the 3-setting cartridge will have a white colored base whereas the 6-setting cartridge will have a gray bottom. Best regards, Edward

Can I install the RP51919 6 position cartridge and keep the T11874 3 setting diverter? plumber connected the right hand port to the shower head.Or, I'm I forced to also change the valve to T11974 if I want to use RP51919 to work around the misconnection??

Asked by: JackP
Hi, JackP! Thank you for your question. The Delta RP51919 6 setting diverter cartridge will work with the T11874 trim kit so that all 3 settings will work since the right port is being used and the left port is plugged. Please note, there will be 3 blank settings. Best Regards, Rosanna

three output combinations

We are planning two regular shower heads and a third central rainfall type. Would this diverter allow selecting one or the other shower head with or without the rainfall? Ie, could our choices be A, B, A+B, C, A+C, B+C? I believe another QA states there is no 'all three' A+B+C setting.
Asked by: douglasgb
Hi Douglas, Thank you for your question. The RP51919 6 setting diverter works as you describe. You can use each feature individually, or any 2 at a time, but not all 3 at a time. Thanks, Dave

Are repair parts available for this diverter? RP51919

I dropped the diverter during installation and the brown piece inside that turns and directs the water flow broke. It appears to be ceramic. Is their any way I can purchase just that piece? Thanks,
Asked by: JP
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP51919 does not break down into parts for individual purchase. If you have an issue with this part, the whole part will need to be replaced. It can be ordered and purchased from your local retailer or wholesaler.

Where can I find a table of flow rates for each appliciable cartridge installed in a R11000 Diverter rough-in.

Flow rate through the R10000-UNBXHF is 7.7 gpm @ 80 psi using the T17 cartridge. Hydrachoice fixture flow rate appears to be 1.0 gpm @ 80 psi, the showerhead 52690 flows 2.0 gpm @ 80 psi. All this is well and good until you place restrictive diverted in-line, say the cartridge in the diverter flows 2.0 gpm @ 80 psi, things won't work well. The flow rate of the cartridge and the valve combined must meet or exceed the flow rate of the main valve cartridge and valve combined. I am attempting to verify this is indeed the case.
Asked by: Brian
Hi Brian, Thank you for your question. The diverter will allow 5.8 gallons per minute through each individual port, up to a maximum combined flow of 7.7 gpm when using the T17 series with 80 PSI. Thanks, Jon

We just jput in a r1100 3/6 diverter do we need this cartridge in order to use all three fixtures and combos?

Asked by: shar
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # RP51919 is a 6-setting cartridge that when used with the R11000 valve will allow you to add two other features to your shower system. For instance, you can add a handheld shower and a set of 3 body sprays. By using the diverter, you will be able to operate each one independently or 2 of the 3 together. You cannot operate all three at the same time.
