PRODUCT FEATURES
6-Setting Diverter Cartridge allows multiple features to be selected, when used with the Delta® diverter rough plumber for three features. Any of three features may be turned on individually, or any pair of features may be turned on. For example, select from shower, hand shower, or body spray individually, or pairs such as shower head and body spray, or hand shower and body spray, or shower head and hand shower.

I want to install the RP51919 6-function cartridge in my diverter valve body, but I am unable to remove the plastic threaded sleeve that covers the old cartridge. Does this just unscrew? If yes, mine is in so tight, how do I keep from marring the thread
Thank you for your question, John! The threaded sleeve is held in place only by the metal bonnet and may be tight from mineral buildup. You can try a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water applied with a rag to this area to help loosen any deposits. I have also emailed you directly for further assistance with this repair.

Bought a r22000 Diverter and the Cassidy 3 setting trim kit. Is it possible to make it a 6 setting and if so what parts do I need to purchase?

Thank you for your inquiry! The Delta MultiChoice Universal Integrated Shower Diverter Rough-In R22000 Valve can be used with either a 3-Setting or 6-Setting trim Kits. The Delta Cassidy 6-Setting Integrated Shower Trim Kits are T24997 and T27997 will come with the cartridge assemblies to fit in the R22000 valve.

Thank you for your question. The Delta T11859-SS 3 Setting Diverter Trim Kit includes the RP51918 valve cartridge assembly. The RP51919 is a 6 Setting Diverter Cartridge. All diverter cartridges will fit with the Delta T11859-SS 3 Setting Diverter Trim Kit.

I installed a shower kit 8 yrs ago and it was a set "T18255-RB". It had shower valve/trim+6 way diverter w 2 body sprys. Keeping same RI valve & have T18037-XO to install. . Brass stem on diverter is much longer than original. Will extender work?
Thank you for your question, Donald! If you have a model T18255-RB installed, you will need to order a sleeve RP37901 to use the new trim as the stem of the new diverter cartridge will work in place of the stem assembly and extender. You will not be using the extender with the new cartridge however, this could require adjusting the rough-in valves in the wall, as the trims may not cover the existing hole and the one piece trim plate for the T18255 is only available in Chrome at this time.

plumber didnt plug right port with 2 fixtures.
Can i use another cartridge other than rp51918.
Hi Howie Senior, Thank you for your question. You can change out to the 6 function cartridge RP51919 and not change the plumbing behingd the wall. The handle will turn in 6 positions so you will have some blank and some duplicate positions but will have the ability to operate your 2 items separately or at the same time.

Diverter - 3 Diverter Trim with 6 Settings
I purchased the 3 Diverter trim however it appears that the right outlet was plumbed and now I am only getting water to one of the shower heads (rain shower vs. handheld). Would purchasing the 6 setting diverter solve my issue?
Please help.

Thank you for your question. If you purchase Delta Faucet RP51919, you can fix your issue but you will end up with some dead spots where no water will be coming out.
