What size is it?
This is a terrible nut. It is very narrow strips easily and does not do the job. If the bottom of the sink is not smooth or the hole is on the large size this nut will not secure the faucet for long. Delta should change the spout to use nut RP47423 as used on the handles. RP47423 and RP49835 are the greatest inventions since latex paint.
