Does this need O ring RP54975 as mentioned in the faucet part list for the one I have 19963-SSSD-DST.

Our Delta Faucet Bonnet Cap - 1H Bathroom In Chrome MODEL#: RP54972 can be removed by unthreading, if the cap is too tight then we recommend soaking. First take a rag and soak it in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. Next, take the rag and wrap it around the cap and soak for 15-20 minutes. Lastly, you can use a strap wrench to help in removing the cap.
